Seriously, the MP has been getting more and more difficult.
Its really discouraging when i'm on Bronze, with a lvl 20 Krogan Sentinal, tech armor is spec to protect from dmg, so is rage...and i'm getting downed by ASSAULT TROOPERS ON WAVE 6!!!!

WTF BioWare? why are you spiking the difficulties???

Or should i say...SKYNET?!?

Here's BW thread they started for this very issue, read it through.

BW reps on the forums have said BW hasn't changed the enemies in MP.

A conclusion me and my friends came up with is that the total N7 level of the party adds a multiplier of sorts to the difficulty.
This is reflected in the fact that enemies execute the players with higher N7 levels first/faster than those with lower N7 levels.

There is no per-player difficulty. A Banshee vs a rank 1 N7 player is exactly the same as a Banshee vs a rank 1000 N7 player. The only difference is the difficulty level (Bronze / Silver / Gold).

It may *feel* like it sometimes... I know I've been put down by a Husk on wave 2 before, or some hero Assault Trooper... but it's really just random stuff contributing to those deaths .

All the difficulty hotfixes are posted in Eric's threads - there's nothing more than that. At some point, when the patches come in there may be some behavioral tweaks to fix some bugs - I'm not sure how Eric wants to handle that stuff.

Another cookie-cutter denial by your staff. If you've played the game to get as high in N7 as i have then you know when something has changed. I personally don't care, what bothers me is that you guys have been getting tons of heat for lying and here we are asking for straight answers and receiving basically a "no comment". Its just in our heads (Indoc) or pure RNG. Well its not.

No... I'm flat out telling you, there have been no difficulty tweaks beyond what have been posted by Eric. If you're not comfortable with that, I can't help you. This is a straight answer, I can't state it any more categorically than that.

There have been no difficulty tweaks beyond what Eric has posted.

If you're claiming that I'm lying... then I'm not sure why we're having this conversation, and I'll just leave.

Ah ok, so it might just be a side effect of a patch or something? I have noticed an increase in glitched enemies. Ones stuck in their spawn points, had one that lost his armor then became invul, 4 people shooting him point blank but to no effect but he could kill us. Either way, I'm fine...just a little tougher but still having fun. Great work on the mp, appreciate it :)

So the patch may have introduced some issues... but that would have been since Wednesday morning, and from what I can recall I don't think there were any MP specific fixes in that patch... I know that I've definitely seen some weird issues on some of the new levels - which looks to be an issue with some of the content (hopefully we can address that easily).

What you're describing sounds like the stasis/biotic explosion bug, if you get a biotic explosion on a stasis'd guy it can cause them to get into a weird visual state, they look like they're down, but they're actually standing and fighting.

There are other issues such as enemies performing entrance actions (boost up/down, wall climb, etc) can get out of sync on clients sometimes, they look like they're stuck... their position is only visually valid on the server. Stuff like that... we have fixes for a lot of this stuff which should be out once we're done all the additional stuff that goes into patching (beyond just fixing the bug ).

No what im saying is that their trying to test the game live and every day, sometimes every game is a totally different experience difficulty wise as it was not before apr 3 when the patch came out and these posts all started coming up.

No, we do actually have an internal test server... and all the hotfixes are tested internally before they're deployed to the live servers.

It's an interesting idea to get more people into the pool though but I'm not sure how feasible it would be. Off the top of my head I think it would be pretty difficult to get some of the infrastructure set up. I can definitely bring it up though.
