I have been noticing more elites in later waves on Silver, especially rounds 10 and 11. Geth seem more aggressive and Cerberus engineers spawning more turrets in the same area, especially next to or around hacking zones.

I've noticed a few differences on Bronze.
The enemy have started dodging more. From virtually being ignored when using powers, (except when by myself) I have become a target and now resort to duck, shoot, duck, power. I also noticed that the spawn points on Dagger are subtlety different, with more spawning at the end of the corridors.

Overload seems to have developed a glitch, it makes a fizzle noise and does nothing...which is bad when I'm using it to take down enemies in front of me, and it isn't.

Incinerate seems to be more laggy. Tactical cloak seems to be visible to the enemy sometimes too.

It could be a patch glitch, rather than intentional on part of BW.

To be honest a mate and I who usually play together noticed this about a week ago as well. We had pretty much a 100% success rate on silver and it was a breeze then we had a few games where it was just insane, and our success rate dropped substantially. My mate also plays on gold (and always gets top spot in every game I have seen) and even he was going "wtf?!"

Not sure what it is but some games just seem to have much aggressive spawns (like being flanked by multiple paired banshees + brutes, or a lot more phantoms) than they used to. But.... it doesn't seem consistent.  Heck I have had one mob dodge 4 warps in a row... :/

(yeah yeah, team mates etc etc. however the remaining 2 are often quite experienced and play well and we can still wipe occasionally)

I'v been noticing the same. Successful extraction on silver was pretty common but the in this past week we've been completely destroyed on wave 10 with multiple deaths in trhe first couple of rounds. Several times I had barriers drop, run to cover and jusg dropped dead after ai put distance between the enemy. Pyros were strong but they're putting me down almost instantly now. As some have mentioned, hits not registering, barriers or armor not budging. Phantoms and geth lts spawning like crazy. Died and watched a cereberus set don 3 turrets within 5 ft of each other. Something does seem different. My silver success rates have dropped considerably.

I noticed the AI has been a lot more aggressive. 3-4 Cerberus turrets side by side, enemies seeing through cloak (often to the point they literally would come up just to melee you). Powers like Overload don't seem to register as a hit as often as it used to be, but I think that is just lag.

Still, not a really huge cause of concern to me.

I haven't noticed a strict difficulty bump, but it does seem like more enemies can detect cloak. I had a prime--the only enemy left on a map, when I was the only teammate still standing--immediately start unloading on me as soon as I came into view while cloaked. I also have noticed what seems lije an increased proportion of elites. On a silver Dagger match on Tuesday, we had 5 banshees on wave 8 or 9. First a pair came, then another pair, then one straggler late. I killed the first two in the tower quickly with a missile, and couldn't believe it when two more showed up down below within about 20 seconds.

There is definately something going on with the enemy AI recently. My friend and I just did a round on Bronze with the Geth on Firebase White and during a "hold and hack" objective, we both took out about 4 Hunters, several Pyros and a crazy amount of Rocket Troopers before we got the mission complete. Also noticed that the Pyros don't "daze" anymore when they are shot in the head while using their flame attack like they used to do. I don't know what's going on, but this has gone from just being a fun way to pass the time and not wanting to stop playing to "I hate this game and I'm about to find something else to play."  Not sure what's going on but if the devs had anything to do with it, I say "Thanks a lot, Bioware."

Just did a few game and enemy were on fire. Seriously they were evading everything we throw at them on bronze. Good thing they don't seem to evade bullet. They evade less when we played on the same map in silver and gold. :pinched:



Sometimes I just think they want to be a bunch of jerk and do everything to make us angry even at the lowest difficulty. Talking about the AI not BioWare changing thing.

They tell us when they tweak mp. If they didn't list it 99% of the time nothing has changed.

Who are you calling a noob?
I never said i was using melee.
A Krogan sentinel has the highest survivability of all classes, combined with effective use of grenades and disreguard for poer recharge makes it a heavy tanking class, Just because its a krogan doesn't mean all it can to is punch. an black widow and aclaymore are two powerful and deadly weapons.

so basicaly you started this theme for what purpose? Till now all you did was attacking answers....reason?

Weapons and certain powers were tweaked, some buffed some nerved, enemy a.i. has been tweaked to dodge powers more often..that`s about it.
I never tried soloing silver with a krogan/sent, but my engineer does still fine, altough i try this just for fun sometimes. Playing in a team is more fun..that`s my subjective opinion.

The only thing i noticed (but that`s just a wild guess) is that sometimes mob-spawns seem pretty unfittig for set difficulty, i had silver-like spawns on bronze and gold-like spawns on silver sometimes...as soon as there are 4 brutes and a couple of ravangers + 2 banshees backed by a pack of marauders popping on bronze(2player) before wave 10 i tought something was wrong.

it's only logical:
increase difficulty + add more uber items to the reinforcement packs + people might spend more real money on the packs = happy EA/bioware with lots of $$$ and €€€

I completely agree with you and i made my own post last week and a bioware rep actually posted and said no changes were done to difficulty but alot of people thought it was different.

I kinda believe your second point about the n7 rating as i have over a 900 n7 and i get insta killed if im down even when leveling a guy in bronze. its automatic. if i play a biotic? everyone is coming for me, even my buddies on live notice it and we joke about it as i have to run around in circles for my life while my team takes out everyone or i use my valiant and snipe and run.

also i did want to add i think they are also messing with the damages of weapons because i cant 1 shot cannibals with a valiant on bronze sometimes and sometimes i can. maybe they are messing with the damage and hit locations of the mobs?

what hes complaining about and alot of people are agreeing is that they arent posting that theyve buffed diffculty and are denying it.

There is no per-player difficulty. A Banshee vs a rank 1 N7 player is exactly the same as a Banshee vs a rank 1000 N7 player. The only difference is the difficulty level (Bronze / Silver / Gold).

It may *feel* like it sometimes... I know I've been put down by a Husk on wave 2 before, or some hero Assault Trooper... but it's really just random stuff contributing to those deaths :happy:.

All the difficulty hotfixes are posted in Eric's threads - there's nothing more than that. At some point, when the patches come in there may be some behavioral tweaks to fix some bugs - I'm not sure how Eric wants to handle that stuff.

Another cookie-cutter denial by your staff. If you've played the game to get as high in N7 as i have then you know when something has changed. I personally don't care, what bothers me is that you guys have been getting tons of heat for lying and here we are asking for straight answers and receiving basically a "no comment". Its just in our heads (Indoc) or pure RNG. Well its not.

I came from World of Warcraft. They have a PTR (Public Test Realm). Why not just admit your tweaking and trying to make balance changes on a live server and make a test server where people can try out new stuff your working on even if its broken. Why not BW? because it worked for Blizzard for over 10 years and it makes too much sense.

I was thinking this very same thing past night. I played a solo bronze cerberus white and it seemed normal. Never solod before but I was successful. However,I can usually play with randoms on silver and still be able to carry one or two noobs. Not the case last night. Combining in disconnects,I think I was 1/5 last night on SILVER. I usually play gold.
