The only thing I experience is that MP is getting easier, but thats because I'm getting better at the game. And bronze... bronze is braindead-mode.

Lol, this is delusion on your part. They haven't significantly changed any of the difficulty levels.
The fact that you're still playing Silver games and apparently losing them with an N7 rating of 500 confirms what I suspected about high N7 levels usually sucking at the game. I guess people who are attracted to prestige and promotions and other e-peen things aren't the best ones at actually playing the game.

If that's the case, then perhaps we can get those hero assault troopers and berserk husks a bit more often? I was in more than a few matches last night when for some reason Cerberus was absolutely vicious, and I'll be damned if those weren't the most fun, memorable games I've had to date.Brenon Holmes wrote...

Listen not to the hordes of players that treat this as Farmville in Space, who despite rank X ultra-rare weapons and characters so heavily-customized who look like they're on their way to Carnivale, couldn't prevail on bronze for the laundry list of bad playing habits they've delicately fostered in FBW geth runs.
EDIT: Snark aside, I do have to wonder if they changed the netcode or the setup of the EA servers. I do wonder if this difficulty spiking is because of lag. I have caught myself finding my shields draining for no reason while I was behind cover and receiving no damage indicator, and been shot up by ghost troopers, before.

Where are you getting thousands from? I see a handful of posters in a handful of threads. Personally, I've seen no change in the difficulty on any setting, and I play a fairly even amount at each difficulty.
Are you trying to suggest there's some Bioware/EA conspiracy to secretly change the difficulty of the game, despite the fact that they have been completely open and forthcoming about all balance changes and bugs in sticky threads on this very forum? What reason would they have to lie?

Dude, I'm going to put this as kindly as I possibly can.
You're a level 20 Infiltrator who has played this game a lot. And yet you claim to get easily downed on Silver.
You are not good at this game.
If your friends are also getting downed this much, they are not good.
Stop blaming the game because you suck at it. Try to become better if you want to play on something other than Bronze difficulty with the noobs.

BW reps on the forums have said BW hasn't changed the enemies in MP.
A conclusion me and my friends came up with is that the total N7 level of the party adds a multiplier of sorts to the difficulty.
This is reflected in the fact that enemies execute the players with higher N7 levels first/faster than those with lower N7 levels.
There is no per-player difficulty. A Banshee vs a rank 1 N7 player is exactly the same as a Banshee vs a rank 1000 N7 player. The only difference is the difficulty level (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
It may *feel* like it sometimes... I know I've been put down by a Husk on wave 2 before, or some hero Assault Trooper... but it's really just random stuff contributing to those deaths .
All the difficulty hotfixes are posted in Eric's threads - there's nothing more than that. At some point, when the patches come in there may be some behavioral tweaks to fix some bugs - I'm not sure how Eric wants to handle that stuff.
Well this is coming from your community here...Stop nerfing things, and stop buffing things. We understand you want to "balance" things...but Bronze shoud be EASY, seeing as we get nothing for exp and credits...the amount of work we put into it should reflect, it should be simple for a few lvl 20 chars to breeze through a bronze mission. and etc.
Bronze IS easy. The bad guys hardly do any damage. If you have a level 20 character, you can practically walk through the bad guys.
I don't see a problem.
Try to saythat when you have 4 lvl 20 chars working well together getting randomly downed from full health and shields...from one lone assault trooper...and all he did was unload one burst
Seriously? Wow, LOL.
That sounds more like a random glitch/malfunction than a "change in difficulty". Don't you think?
It would...if it didn't happen consistantly.
btw, i'm talking about on silver here...bronze is only annoying while soloing...when its a group we can easily kill the troopers before they get close enough to shoot.

Your teammates' behaviours are at best variable if you're playing with friends, and at worst completely random. You may be able to play the way you're used to under most conditions, but if you suddenly don't have consistent cover fire or revives or staggers or stasis... things go differently.
Lag can have a big effect. I played a game with a host with whom I had a *terrible* connection with this morning. He was rubber banding all over the place, my throws and warps were cornering (or not) unpredictably, and the mobs were responding to stimuli I couldn't see. The host player seemed to me to be doing nothing for most of the clear, but finished with a decent score, so he did do stuff; I just couldn't see it.

Ah ok, so it might just be a side effect of a patch or something? I have noticed an increase in glitched enemies. Ones stuck in their spawn points, had one that lost his armor then became invul, 4 people shooting him point blank but to no effect but he could kill us. Either way, I'm fine...just a little tougher but still having fun. Great work on the mp, appreciate it
So the patch may have introduced some issues... but that would have been since Wednesday morning, and from what I can recall I don't think there were any MP specific fixes in that patch... I know that I've definitely seen some weird issues on some of the new levels - which looks to be an issue with some of the content (hopefully we can address that easily).
What you're describing sounds like the stasis/biotic explosion bug, if you get a biotic explosion on a stasis'd guy it can cause them to get into a weird visual state, they look like they're down, but they're actually standing and fighting.
There are other issues such as enemies performing entrance actions (boost up/down, wall climb, etc) can get out of sync on clients sometimes, they look like they're stuck... their position is only visually valid on the server. Stuff like that... we have fixes for a lot of this stuff which should be out once we're done all the additional stuff that goes into patching (beyond just fixing the bug ).

I think it's safe to say you are exaggerating, and/or are a liar. Just take your pride down a notch and realize you got caught out of position or with low health and got downed by a lame enemy. It happens. Move on with your life. There are no conspiracy theories against you or some crazy hax.

Try something for me. Don't assume you know anything about me.
And if you had payed attention to ANY of the posts, you'd realize i haven't been using my Infil.
I can take a gold with my friends, i can take a bronze with a group of randoms. the SILVER CHALLENGE (which is what we've been talking about) Is getting messed with and the enemies are bein massivly buffed.
Just finished 3 golds, all made full extractions, then SAME GROUP, same map, same enemy just to test the issue...went down to silver and all got raped on wave 5.

The ONLY reason i hace a high N7 is cuz i promoted characters so i can do something other than have 6 lvl 20 chars and nothing to do.
And from my experience? low n7 means useless cannon fodder. high means they have experiense and know what the F*** they're doing.

No what im saying is that their trying to test the game live and every day, sometimes every game is a totally different experience difficulty wise as it was not before apr 3 when the patch came out and these posts all started coming up.

Yup, im in the top 1000 in the world and i don't suck. On the contrary i have non stop requests and invites on live. And i know im taking a hard stand on this debate because im seeing people leave the game and its only on its first month. I see so much potential with this MP since the Call of Duty Franchise and i dont wan't to see it die before it can become what it should be.
Im pretty chill on live if you dont believe me and due to my retired status im home alot lol. so feel free to game with me if you want neva die 305

No, we do actually have an internal test server... and all the hotfixes are tested internally before they're deployed to the live servers.
It's an interesting idea to get more people into the pool though but I'm not sure how feasible it would be. Off the top of my head I think it would be pretty difficult to get some of the infrastructure set up. I can definitely bring it up though.

beta test vesion DLC if you own the game. Maybe a minimum N7 rating to be able to participate and to stay active possibly you have to login and post messsage system.
By a min. rating you will know you got people that are contributing that have substantial experience and have been trying not just one map on gold but all 3 levels and random maps aswell so better feedback. Guys that are real good but only play gold can really on test Gold.
