Sup.

Look, of all the claims made in interviews, the most actionable one is the "Don't need Multiplayer." claim. Is it TECHNICALLY correct, given Mass Effect: Infiltrator? Yes. But if you DON'T have an iPad, you do need multiplayer in order to get it. On a truth/lie scale, this one is TECHNICALLY true, SPIRITUALLY false. And if people want to bag on BioWare for that claim - and ONLY that claim - I won't step in to fight it, because it annoys me as well.

Holy crap, I was critical of BioWare. BUT WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE PAID PR TROLL THERORIES? OMG HEAD ASPLODE.

Actually they said there are enough assets in single player alone.  Which means the statement is not correct at all.

I'm sorry, I long since passed the point of giving a crap about anything you say.

Then why keep talking to him, you were kinda right about infiltrator, why not just drop it there.

I'm also kinda wrong about Infiltrator. The MP claim is... it's the one I won't argue. I completely accept and understand, and even agree with, people being pissed off over the Multiplayer aspect. I really, truly do.

And as for dropping it there, I assure you, that was my last response to him.

Seems to my that both slyguy (and kbct) has presented plenty of sources for their claims?

kbct is so baaaad lol. he even argues with Stanley Woo and gets owned.

KBCT is still clearly better than you. But hey, go back to your apparently terrible reality while i enjoy my fun and ejoyable reality, also do not forget to make a wild accusation and say how it is just a video-game before you go.

I'm pretty sure this guy was mocking people who let the endings get to them earlier. Something about people not being able to sleep being depressed ect while at the same time going around using a signature saying " shepard deserves better fans " well if he's the model of what a " better " fan should be count me right out.

I also noticed his tendency to post in a hit and run style.

Make a troll post, gets confronted with logic, doesn't post again.

If only that were the case with every troll.

He's the type of troll you only need to wave a fire stick at to beat him back under his bridge.

Quite.
Let's focus on the trolls fans waiving their arms on the bridge then, shall we? It seems they crave our attention.

They would be so much less annoying.

And the mods would have a much easier job.

I thought it was simply that "Multiplayer is not needed to achieve the best ending." If they said that "there are enough assests in single player alone", then you're correct, absolutely.

Regardless, as I've stated, that claim is one I won't defend, because I simply can't, and moreover, I agree with the people who want that statement retracted, or more assets added to the SP game to make up the difference.

I see their strategy....they come into these threads and attack the people until a flame war starts and a mod closes down the thread. right out of the PR troll handbook. *slow clap*

I guess I am going to "hit and run" as some called it because debating with PR trolls is boring.<_<

I find it very offensive, but whiners didn't get the game changed to that, BioWare just completely messed that one up majorly.

I see your strategy, accuse everyone who disagrees with you of being a paid PR troll until they lose their temper and start getting pissed off and attack you until a flame war starts and a mod closes down the thread. Right out of the actual troll handbook. *slow clap*

You know I wonder how differently things would have turned out if they had animated each of the endings completely different from one another. You still have the same three choices but instead of seeing the same basic scene no matter what, they would all be drastically different including the little changes between them. Regardless of how you feel about the endings, the way they were presented was extremely lazy.

I didn't start by saying everyone is payed. I only said you were because you have been attacking popular threads for a while using the same trolly tactics and the threads were always strongly anti-ea/bw. And XTR3M3 only just said that, he is mostly silent.

And this is a situation in which I, a "paid PR troll" in the words of some, completely agree with you. BioWare **** the bed on that one, and something should be done about it.

And this is another situation in which I can agree with you. Do I like the endings? I do. Are they exactly what I was hoping for/expecting? They are not. Do I wish there was more of a difference between them? I do. Hopefully in the extended endings DLC, there is more difference evident between which ending you choose.

It is obvious, yes.
Nice thing we have both the Something Awful forums and Hold The Line forums to mock their pathetic shill account PR handling:

http://forums.someth...&pagenumber=806

http://www.holdtheline.com/forum/

They can continue to pretend their tactics are working when everyone knows it's sh!t.
Especially the EA execs.

Question is why they don't own up to that mistake when it's so blatantly obvious to everyone else.
Bad business policies perhaps?

The way I kinda see this whole thing is like an electronic version of the whole "pink slime" debacle. The pink slime was examined and determined to be perfectly fine for consumption and was for years, but once people found out the gross factor was too much for them. Can they eat it? Yea. But they don't want to, so a bunch of folks complained and the company that produced it has pretty much gone bankrupt if I'm not mistaken. Same basic idea except for with endings. Is it an ending you could accept? Yea. Is it one you want to? For a large portion of fans, no.

Yup. Gamers follow this logic when it comes to gaming: One step forward, three steps back, five more steps back and then complain.

Why are all games the same just different clones of each other - because gamers that don't difference report them.
Why don't game developers take chances anymore - because gamers will report them if they don't meet expectations.
Why are games developed like pop up books - because gamers will report them if they don't understand something
Why am I paying for DLC that treats itself like it's a seperate game - because gamers will report them if it's not a stand alone module.
Why has the game industry stagnated - because gamers don't have a clue what they are actually fighting for half the time. As with most customer advocate groups.

Fight like this over DLC when we as gamers should have? No, lets just enjoy being nickle and dimed because its easier.
Fight like this when games started to turn into copy past clones? No, those models work just look at how well CoD and MW do.
Fight like this as the gaming industry slowly begins to turn to broad market gaming for all products? No, we sit on our ass's and complain on the forums that there's no differiential in the games being released.

Fight like this when a series ends and we don't like the ending? Absolutly. Everything that has happened to us as gamers that we have allowed, well they just can't end a game like this. They can nickle and dime us in DLC to finish the story or continue the franchise in some way; that we allow. Possibly offer an entire new ending as DLC, that we allow. But an ending we don't like. **** that. It's time for pitch forks and molitovs, FTC complaints, BBB complaints, emails en mass to every source out there and actually doing something for a change.

Because as gamers that's what we do. We allow anything and everything to be done to us. We get something changed for one game that we don't like and let 3 things we don't like stay because well hey they listened and changed that one thing, that one time.
