So, this is a video of a pub game I just played against Gold Reapers on Reactor.  A lot of people have been expressing disappointment with the Asari Justicar's bubble.  This video should demonstrate that they are Doing It Wrong in a very big way.

The video quality is limited by the equipment I have, sadly (I play on X360 so I can't just download something, and I don't want to pony up the cash for a capture card), but anyone interested in the Asari Justicar ought to take a look.  I've yet to see anyone else using one to its true potential.  You'll notice parts where I mow down 4 brutes and 2 banshees within seconds by just running up into the enemy's face and blasting them with the biotic bubble for extreme damage, especially if even one teammate assists with fire (because of the 50% damage bonus).  You'll also note that I am rushing the enemies down and getting at point blank range of multiple brutes and banshees at a time.  And that I never used even one medigel doing this all game.  And of course, despite the fact that I'm inflating my allies' scores by setting off their combos and giving them 50% damage bonuses, I score in first by a very significant margin.

Hopefully this dissuades some of the deluge of threads claiming that the Asari Justicar is somehow underwhelming.  You're not supposed to sit back and play it like the other asari adept... this class is at its best when getting up in the enemy's face.

Edit4:  By the way, one thing that might not really be clear in the video due to the quality is the large number of enemies being killed by damage over time effects offscreen, as a result of the Asari Justicar's very long duration Reave and Warp.  However, what you should notice is how many times I fire and leave things behind, knowing they're doomed, hence the soundtrack "cool guys don't look at explosions" being included.

Yes, the Bubble is a death machine. Some serious damage can be dished out and I have found them very fun to play as. At first I disliked them, but now I'm using them a lot more because of the damage you can deal.

Offense. Purely offense. Defense is for wusses who don't understand that the best defense is making everything staggered / dead.  You don't care about your shield recharge time or a few extra points of damage reduction.  Pffft.  Make that radius bigger. Make it expose enemies. Make it warp enemies.  Watch banshees melt.

...Can anyone actually be this dense?  That's a video of me playing Gold.  My build has been wrecking Gold ever since I got the Justicar.

For the bubble I custom-made it for FB:W Geth farming.

I went with the radius, increased damage reduction and warp.

I just pop it right in the middle of the room so the people in cover like the engineer gets the reduced damage buff, while all the mobs that walk in front of them get warped.

It's alright. Not a huge fan of her though. I prefer my Batarian Whale Hunter. <3

Cool stuff, the video is pretty useless though, sorry.

I really like the Justicar, I haven't played with her that much but she is cool
I played a few gold game with her and then went back to my regular asari adept, and my god did I die fast!

I have bubble specced for offense as well, but reave and maxed fitness along with the basic defense bonus really makes you able to take A LOT pf punishment even on gold...

I did a gold reaper run with an offensive bubble asari the other day and it really is amazing. Just camped in that small room in glacier and everyone else spammed throw. Awesome thing is that because banshees are all warped in the bubble, all it takes is a throw to stagger and stop an insta kill. Brutes and banshees went down in seconds

Nope, it's actually harder because the control scheme is actually worse, and no keyboard and mouse.

I make it look easy, that's all.
All three asari in this game are unstoppable death machines in skilled hands.

Anyone saying the bubble is bad, is a baddie. Case closed. One of the best abilities in the game, hands down.

You can solo pretty easily too, actually.  I think I will upload a video of me soloing Gold Reapers with the Justicar next.

No, it doesn't get reapplied, but you can draw extra enemies as "fuel" for more explosions.  You can also detonate explosions by casting the bubble itself.

That's why I can, solo, set off some 5 rapid biotic explosions.  You'll see me doing it in the video a few times, since my allies are running every which way.  Such is the way of pubs.
