How to play the Asari Justicar like a boss (Gold Videos)

1. A lot of the times your shield was being restored by a geth turret.
2. The whole team is doing a lot of damage. The bubbles contribution is not as high as thier damage.
3. Reapers DO die in a bubble fast. But brutes and banshees are slow. Yes you can walk up to them. Try this with cerberus or geth and you are dead. Also there is a bug? Where u cant pop up a bubble while standing near an atlas. It just wont appear.
4. You had another biotic on the team to help trigger explosions. If you didnt have that it would have been almost impossible to do significant damage when you are surrounded by 4 brutes. The bubble just wont cut it.
Great video though showing a great team working together. But i dont think it proves anything about the bubble on its own accord.

Sorry but this is not convincing. Its cherry picked. Here is why:

3. Reapers DO die in a bubble fast. But brutes and banshees are slow. Yes you can walk up to them. Try this with cerberus or geth and you are dead. Also there is a bug? Where u cant pop up a bubble while standing near an atlas. It just wont appear.

This was not an organized team (beyond the fact that I was on mic and giving suggestions to everybody which were largely ignored), and the video should evidence that people are all wandering off all over the map kinda haphazardly. Yes, these particular guys were better than most of the pubs I had, but I was doing just fine in teams without other biotics too. There was one game where there were no other biotics and the only other good palyer was a Salarian Infiltrator, and I outscored him too, despite the fact that he was following me around for the 50% damage bonus against armored targets.
If that were true, I wouldn't have the highest score by a longshot. I was doing more damage than my teammates, and I multiplied the damage of my teammates against anything in the bubble by 25-50%.2. The whole team is doing a lot of damage. The bubbles contribution is not as high as thier damage.
Watch how I do it on the solo video.4. You had another biotic on the team to help trigger explosions. If
you didnt have that it would have been almost impossible to do
significant damage when you are surrounded by 4 brutes. The bubble just
wont cut it.
The solo video is against Cerberus. It's true that it's a lot better against reapers, though. I never claimed otherwise.3. Reapers DO die in a bubble fast. But brutes and banshees are slow.
Yes you can walk up to them. Try this with cerberus or geth and you are
dead. Also there is a bug? Where u cant pop up a bubble while standing

Mind posting your Asaro builds and weapon choices? I've almost always specc'd defensively and am wondering now if I'm doing it wrong...
I agree with this, please post. I've always used defensive also, and taken an assault rilfe ( the one passive reduces the weight by 30% ) but I notice you are using geth shotgun.

I think you have the right idea. I died a few times(5) since I'm still inexperienced with this playstyle, but I like it. Its fun, viceral, and gets results.I only wish Reave had a faster cooldown.
I'm just sad that I underestimated Warp Effect.

Duration / Power Damage / Weapon Damage
Durability / Shield Recharge / Fitness Expert

Thats exactly how I built mine for the test. Only I used a Disciple X so I can get a 200% cooldown.

With no equipment, the Geth Shotgun is still powerful enough to stagger banshees when they're in the bubble. With warp rounds 3 and a rail amp 3 (not using in the video) it brutalizes anything in the bubble. I feel it's a great complement, and makes soloing all that much more viable.
I think, as a general principle, 200% cooldown is often overrated.

Nice on getting the Shotgun X! I've got a VII right now, and I was feeling special. Would you mind posting your Asari Vanguard and Adept builds as well? You mentioned that you had proficiency with them too.

The Vanguard build is in the Vanguard Solo video thread. My adept is a straightforward 6/6/6/5/3

W/e, video quality is atrocious. Painful to watch.
The PC elitists continue to find NEW WAYS to be condescending. It's downright funny and entertaining.

I really want to put 3 points into pull. Is this just a bad idea? And where would I take A point out of?
Just don't pick up the 10% weapon damage or 30% AR weight.

Been using pretty much the exact same build since release day. It's great. I prefer 3 in pull than weapon dmg though as I haven't got anything leveled to X at a high enough tier for it to matter.
I attempted to use the Assault rifle perk, but as ARs are so pathetic right now it didn't feel worth it. Unfortunately I only have a level IV GPS which gives quite a large cool-down, what's yours with the X?

FInal Justicar Branch: Weapon dmg/weight. That's the exact build I useabove and pull can be very useful setting off distanced Bio-Booms, if you have someone on your team taking down shields especially.

Just watched some of your video soloing gold like a boss. LOL. Wow.
Do you think Bioware will nerf the bubble or something? Seems like when something proves to be very powerful/effective, it risks being nerfed.

Do some solo runs with better video quality if you really wanna show the class strength.

Dude, thanks for posting. Assault rilfes are a bit underwhelming - I have Revenant X and you use almost all that darn ammo killing things.
I am going to try this build tonight. I ought to tell the players I'm playing with what the bubble strategy is. Almost no one talks in my games ( xbox ), but its helpful when they do communicate

Just on a sidenote, GPS does not benifit from AP mode at all since it ignores armor damage reduction and projectiles cannot pierce.

a bit off topic here, but does the GPS work with piercing mods? you mentioned that you used that but does it acutaly DO anything? i know that other balisic weapons (iE Graal, Falcon etc.) dont get any benefits from piercing mods, so i asume that goes for the GPS as well... at least you wont get any cover piecing effects with this mod.
No, AP is wasted on GPS as the user above you explains.
Best mods for GPS, imo, are damage and capacity. There's a post somewhere that explains why choke is neglegable, too, I'll link if I find it/remember.
