great, i just switched my build to be defensive with my last reset power, and i dont want to promote. ill just wait for another one and keep trying out the defensive tactic.

Dude, promote.  It does not take that long to level back up.  You also get to feel how weak the lower level players are again :)   But this is radical different strategy from the defensive one, and I hope it works half as good as this dude makes it work.

a bit off topic here, but does the GPS work with piercing mods? you mentioned that you used that but does it acutaly DO anything? i know that other balisic weapons (iE Graal, Falcon etc.) dont get any benefits from piercing mods, so i asume that goes for the GPS as well... at least you wont get any cover piecing effects with this mod.

It doesn't shoot through cover, but I assumed it still did more damage to armor.  I could be completely wrong though.

Also you can solo gold to wave 7 , especially against cerberus, with almost any build. The question is whether bubble really helps with it. I dont think it does. I am willing to be proven wrong. I just have not found it that efficient. It does melt banshees really well but that is a highly specialized case for it.

I know I would have a LOT more trouble if I didn't have the bubble.  It's super handy.  Anyways, it's competing for space with the Drell Adept, so the real question is:  Is Bubble more useful than Cluster Grenades?  My experience so far is "**** yeah baby."

Also, just ran a Gold solo attempt (with no equipment) for you, but I failed at wave 10 because there was a Device Objective and I couldn't get that device alone for the 5 seconds or whatever it takes to activate it, and I don't think you'd even want to bother to watch such failure.  :'(

I hate device objectives when soloing.  Hacking?  Fine.  Targets?  Easy.  Device?  When soloing, it's luck of the draw as to whether I will be able to get there in time or not unless I'm an infiltrator.  I just got unlucky.

I will try a second run sometime later... but not right now.  If you want to see it tell me and I'll upload it anyways.

I know i want to love this class so much and i tried 4 differnent spec outs already. The full damagr bubble works great on banshees. Personally i found full defensive bubble to be a waste of time. You still get **** dead pretty quick and many races will just toss in a grenade to force you out of the bubble.

So i agree offensive is probably best but the probkem is it wint work against atlases if u are dtanding too close plus its really hard to get enemies to walk into the bubble. Yes its nice that it acts like area denial that way though.

Also i had a lot of times last night where an enemy would walk into the bubble and i would reave them but no bio explosion would happen. Like the warp was not instant or something very frustrating.

I want to like this but it seems to have issues.

I will add though that the justicars reave is uber powerful. Easily kills phantoms with just reave.

So did you want the video or do you just want to wait until I get a second attempt in?

Ive tried using the justicar, and I like it. One main problem, though, is vs Geth. Reave does Nothing. cant get the damage mitigation, and wont let me set off BE off of them, severely hampering my ability to do much. Pull isnt even much of a help, as the only ones it seemed to do anything to was the grunt troops.

*Shrug* The Drell wasn't good against Geth either.  I haven't actually tried her against Geth yet, though.

I was pretty upset just because the game gave me device  deactivation objectives repeatedly, thus showcasing something that is largely LUCK instead of how I handle objectives that are actually skill-based.  Bleh.  Anyway, I'll upload it.

Just tried it on Firebase White gold versus Geth. Just doesn't work very well for me.
Trying to run to the enemy to place a bubble is suicide. Even if you wait for them around a corner you'll get swarmed by Pyros/Shotgun Geth. Placing a "trap" bubble further away where the enemies pass through gets you a couple of explosions but over a whole wave just 3 explosions aren't going to help a lot.
In the end I had to hide behind the counter again and almost every enemy that came close enough to pass the bubble was already in reach for the instant grab kill. Most of them stayed just outside the bubble while shooting at me.

The missing damage reduction/shield regen from the defensive bubble was also VERY noticeable.
Usually I fire my pistol like crazy between 2 Reave casts but without the defensive bubble my shields went down way too fast and I had to stay in cover most of the time.

I guess I'll test it a few more times but I think I'll go back to defensive bubble in the end.

If you cast reave on an enemy and it walks in to the bubble will the warp effect detonate?

I'm thinking of going 66446, or maybe 66644. I really like the area pull, and use it for quick combos. At the very least 3 points in it. I haven't played an asari in a while so I'm not sure how much Fitness I'll actually take. Also, the fifth rank in justicar passive... isn't this character all about BE, so you can stop at rank 4 ? I follow a similar build with my other adepts, so I've never quite understood the advantages of ranks 5 and 6 with adepts for the power damage and weapon wt/dmg. BE don't need those two skills really, at least not enough to drop Pull entirely.

I forgot to mention this in my previous comment, but I was thinking of speccing the bubble for radius, defensive, warp. Do you think that would provide more utility for damage and protection both?

i do not beliece it does. howecr the problem u will have is getting them to walk into the bubble.

i used it the other night against geth. had the bubble specced for full offensice warp. walked up to two primes and put the bubble on them. i was unimpressed. didnt seem to do much. sucks because i want to like this class so much but her powers are all very situational.

I was hoping it would. Seems like it would be useful against banshees and brutes to cast reave and then lure them into the bubble.

OK this build is badass. Just got through another Silver reaper match. There was three of us(one of the players bailed early for some reason), and it was the hacking mission. The other two dudes die, and I was the only one alive. It. Was. Crazy! With Reave, and the offensive spec biosphere I was holding off WAVES of them. Keep in mind this was the Tuchanka map, and I was stuck in this little corner the whole time.

They just couldn't touch me, and were dying in droves. I actually ended up completing that hacking mission solo, and the bar was no where near full when I started holding those guys off. At the end a Batarian joined up to help out, but it was pretty much done by then.

tl;dr Asari Justicar is awesome end of story.

GPS completely negates the armor reduction and cannot pierce through anything regardless of shredder mod rank or AP ammo rank.  You get no benefits from the shredder mod on the GPS.

you can cast reave on them and when they get close you do the bubble. it has a 1.85 sec cooldown so you can reave again, then bubble. Seems usable only against reapers, but not anyone else.

Is console versions easier than on PC? Looks that way to me.

W/e, video quality is atrocious. Painful to watch.

Nope, it's actually harder because the control scheme is actually worse, and no keyboard and mouse.

I make it look easy, that's all. B)
All three asari in this game are unstoppable death machines in skilled hands.

Your great humility enhances your post.

Well my issue is that even with the extended radius it is too small to use offensively while you're sitting inside of it.
Most of the enemies will stay just outside of the bubble while shooting you. If they get inside they're almost in range for a grab, so that makes the entire Warp useless. Being this close with a couple of Pyros/Shotgun Geth is also a very bad idea, they'll flank you if you don't kill them quickly. Even if they get into the bubble it's not lie you can oneshot them with an explosion.

So I'll probably go back to Radius/Damage Reduction/Allied Protection. It's big enough for your whole team and the damage reduction is very noticeable.
