Offense. Purely offense. Defense is for wusses who don't understand that the best defense is making everything staggered / dead.  You don't care about your shield recharge time or a few extra points of damage reduction.  Pffft.  Make that radius bigger. Make it expose enemies. Make it warp enemies.  Watch banshees melt.

I had the same philosophy when I made my GI-- Haven't regretted it since.  Sure it fails spectacularly when I make a mistake.. but that's just more incentive for me to learn not to make mistakes then.

a bit off topic here, but does the GPS work with piercing mods? you mentioned that you used that but does it acutaly DO anything? i know that other balisic weapons (iE Graal, Falcon etc.) dont get any benefits from piercing mods, so i asume that goes for the GPS as well... at least you wont get any cover piecing effects with this mod.

It doesn't shoot through cover, but I assumed it still did more damage to armor.  I could be completely wrong though.

GPS completely negates the armor reduction and cannot pierce through anything regardless of shredder mod rank or AP ammo rank.  You get no benefits from the shredder mod on the GPS.

Wow, that's good to know!  Not having to run for ammo boxes so much will definitely be handy, anyways.  Thanks for the information.  However, can I get a link to a source or something?

first the salarian infiltrator was the most overpowered class, now it is the justicar. The bubble gives you waaay to many points then what you deserve.I say this despite the fact I usually play as a SI and when I unlock them I will probably enjoy the krogan vanguard and justicar too.

Niko, that solo video is coming, I'm just having some difficulty with the audio... again... and I've been spending this entire time trying to figure out how to fix it.
Not really used to this video editing software.

Uhm, what?  The bubble actually doesn't give you as many points as you actually contribute in terms of damage, since it's boosting the score of your TEAMMATES greatly with the damage bonus.  Same with any support effect.  What do you mean you get more points than you deserve?

Looks awesome. I have a few questions.

1) If I put some points in pull, could I pull semi-distant enemies into a bubble and have them auto-detonate when the bubble applies the warp effect?

2) Why did you choose the extra damage to barriers/armor evolution for reave at level 6? Given the aggressive play style of this build and the fact that you are relying mostly on BE rather than direct reave damage, I would have thought that extra damage protection would be more useful.

3) In your experience, would having extra damage protection from reave make up for not leveling fitness to 6? This assumes you are playing on gold. I'm envisioning 6/6/4/5/4 for radius or 6/6/3/5/6 for survivability.

Also, where in the video do you kill 4 brutes and 2 banshees in seconds? I don't want to watch through the entire thing, sorry.

The bubble gives you ZERO points unless it has Warp...

I am not sure you can generalise on the basis of the experiences of GodlessPaladin.  He is clearly an awsome player with pretty much any class he chooses...

Now, if I rock with this build when I unlock the justicar, then it's time to get out the nerf bat

Not gonna lie, I spent a few of reset cards on my Justicar right off the bat because it just didn't click with me. I haven't been able to watch the vids yet since I'm on my phone at work, but assuming they might just verify the theory about how to play the class that popped into my head earlier today.

Wether they do or not, I really appreciate this thread b/c I could definitely sense some potential in the class but was having difficulty tapping into it. It'll be cool to see it reached and replicate it myself.

You want to turn yourself into a highly aggressive biotic heavy hitter.  The best analogy I've got is that you are to setups what the human vanguard is to triggers.  You are amazing at it and it pays off to be as aggressive as  possible.  You want to hit hard with everything you've got, including your weapon, because that damage bonus from the bubble is huge and your abilities cool down quickly anyways.

Wanted to watch this for some tips but couldn't stand the quality (no offense). I have yet to unlock this character but I usually play with a human vanguard, and I was wondering if going offensive or defensive would be better?

Well I'd love to be able to provide better quality but capture cards are expensive.

Anyways, I've answered this question repeatedly, both in the videos and throughout the thread.  Sooo...

You'll notice parts where I mow down 4 brutes and 2 banshees within seconds by just running up into the enemy's face and blasting them with the biotic bubble for extreme damage, especially if even one teammate assists with fire (because of the 50% damage bonus).  You'll also note that I am rushing the enemies down and getting at point blank range of multiple brutes and banshees at a time.  And that I never used even one medigel doing this all game.  And of course, despite the fact that I'm inflating my allies' scores by setting off their combos and giving them 50% damage bonuses, I score in first by a very significant margin.

wait wait, 50% damage bonus? Isn't it 25% damage bonus for enemies in the bubble, and 25% reduced armor from the warp the bubble puts on them?

Did you say you took the Damage Reduction upgrade for rank 5 of Reave? Why that instead of Recharge Speed if you're going for an all out offensive build?

Already such a short recharge it makes little difference so why not take the DR, I'm assuming?

Edit: Also, I'm assuming by "damage" you mean you took Damage & Duration for Rank 6 of Reave, and not the extra damage to armor and barrier? Mind explaining why for that one too, since it seems the slightly more offensive choice again (though your answer will probably be that it's more situational and the build already seems to tear through barriered/armored enemies so why not go for the damage resistance again, I'm sure).

Thanks!

Don't bother with this Asari. Her Bubble is massively bugged and cannot be cast with enemies nearby. If BW intentionally made it so they suck, if not it's yet another bug.

A shame, it could be a great Adept :(

The video quality is pretty bad, I can't really make out what you are doing other than using reave and shotting things with your shotty.  I see you occationally reaving and poping a bubble, but in all honesty you just look like someone who is spamming reave and shotting things (and doing well) but I don't really see a justicar specific strategy.

I always knew this was an in your face class but I just didn't know how to play her.  I've tried radius reave, run up to reaved enemies and pop a bubble .  I've tried using pull to get them near me and popping a bubble.  I've strategically placing in choke points and reaving anything that comes in.  I can't seem to get it right without dying.  I too spec'd bubble for mainly offense, max's reave and have 3 ranks in pull.  Please advise.

I'm finding the offensive bubble even provides good defense on silver.

I put it at choke points and back off when the mob comes through.  Banshees do melt, but I've been playing silver with it.

I've found that download missions are easier, I imagine it will make reactor more managable.

Ok I respecced to max offensive bubble, and also maximum damage reave (I skipped the reave recharge speed and went with protection increases).

NOW I can actually own! In a couple of silver games tonight I was even first!

With Area Reave your damage reduction is really good already, you don't need the bubble for protection so you can set it up to melt enemies instead. Of course don't just stand in front of a Ravager if you are getting shot.

Used this build tonight and it worked really really well. If you remember you are a support class and you don't run right into firefights you can do very well with this build.

Thanks for turning my opinion GodlessPaladin...

That's right. Two 25%s.  Not sure if it actually adds up to 50% because I'm not exactly sure how damage bonuses stack.  Either way it's a pretty hefty bonus.
