Hello there!
I am playing ME:2 for the second time. The first installation was running smoothly without any noticable issues. Now I wanted to replay the whole trilogy, starting with ME1 with a new character.
For ME:2 I downloaded and installed all available DLCs and the latest patch. Now, everytime I start ME:2 the automatic connection to Cerberus Network fails. However, when I press "Connect" and reenter my email and password manually, the game connects just fine. It's just a very strange behaviour, nothing serious. I can play ME:2 without connection errors after manual login. But it's very annoying all the same. So does anyone to a work-around?

Yours is not a new question, but there is hardly anyone here any more, and I chose to play offline. I can't tell you anything immediately useful, but the forum Archives can, and Kloreep covered it in his Sticky post.

I just end up waiting a few moments then logging into the cerberus network.
It's pretty annoying tbh...

By June, the place will be empty. Same thing happens every spring in game forums. But last fall, after the off-season ended, hardly anyone came back to any of the Tech discussion forums, and only ME-3 had any truly measurable message traffic.

 Simular thing happened to me but I have ME2 installed since its released, I noticed that this problem happened when I started playing SWTOR with the same EA account. I was forced to change password because of the new policy that one letter must be uppercase ( old password was lowercase)

Exact same issue for me 12die4. I noticed it happened a lot more after mass effect 3 came out somehow lol. I just beared the minor hassle of having to retype stuff whenever I launched the game.
