Had a really great random tag team duo on ghost/cerberus/silver with someone called Eynla (?) a few hours ago (sorry if I spelled the name wrong!). Human female soldier with revenant V, and drell adept.

Host left so just the two of us, and I must say some fantastic teamwork with no mics, breezed through to full extraction. So if you're reading this, thanks for the game - I would add you on origin, but I'm at the limit!

I've been playing mainly on bronze as I don't have any XBL friends who play ME3. As you all know, it's rare to randomly link up with competent people who use mics, so I've avoided Gold thus far. The N7 operation this weekend has inspired me to try to find some fun people to play with. I'm a decent player, but I'll unfortunately be feeling my way through Gold. I'm up for supporting a team in whatever way they'd like - I'd probably be most useful on Gold at this point with an Infiltrator.

Also, I'm ancient (33), so I understand when other people have to drop out to take care of kids, spouses, etc. No problem.

Last night was the first time I was able to play with people from here, and it was a blast. I did some nice gold runs with LordShenlong, shpaiderman and someone else who I don't remember the ID (Sorry, I'm forgetful like that). I must apologize for my performance in the Firebase Hydra/Reaper end game. I was all over the place because I got a glitch that all my remapped keys didn't work anymore (I play on the NumPad) and when I tried to remap, all keys in the NumPad registered to the game as Left Shift, so I had to play in the normal setting, which is truly alien for me. After the match, I exited and entered the game again, but it didn't work. I had to restart windows for it to go back to normal.

Looking to move beyond randoms as no one seems interested in team play (generally no mics or have audio disabled) or picking up friends from random teammates. Quite the opposite to what I experienced with Left 4 Dead.

I'm still a relative noob (N7 in the seventies) and my weapons are total crap (manifest), but I have a strong appreciation for teamwork and have done fine with the GE in silver runs.  Planning to make my first gold run for the squad challenge this weekend.  Figure I should at least be able to survive FBW geth with the GE.  Will probably promote a couple characters to get my N7 over 100 in case anyone uses that as a kick cut-off in the gold lobbies.  Hope to see some of you out there.

i don't care about the scoreboard. i just care about completing the match and having fun. it doesn't happen very often, but if i drop out of a match it's probably because my connection died.

Heh. Figured I'd get some blowback on that one. I'm just surprised that when I do run into someone else with a mic, they seem to be much younger than me. I'll try to link up with you on Live - it'll make me feel young.

Congratulations! My first successful gold match was with roy001ryc as well.

It's really nice to see that a lot of the regular gold players are taking newbies to gold.
