Anyone else has the opinion that instantkills(Phantom,Brutes,Banshee) are stupid?

On banshee's and atlas *atli* a team mate if they are lucky or skilled can knock you loose. On brutes and phantoms if you let one get that close, well you deserve to die. Even on gold for phantoms, one good shot gun blast before you run up and melee them as a krogan will knock their shields down and the melee will kill them / stun them before they skewer you.
Fix magnet grabs, but leave video game Darwinism alone

Certain thigns from your team mates can stop OHKs on banshees, but the likely-hood of that happening is so slim it may as well not even exist. The way OHKs are implemented atm just feels like a cheap way to increase difficult - by essentially stopping the player from playing.

What I hate worse, though, is the executions: you get knocked out in a fight and then the enemies step on your face for good measure so your teammates can't rez you back up. Bad enough there's already a time limit for people to get to you, if I'm running my arse off through a field of monsters, across half a map, I don't want to see you got your face stepped on when I'm just about there ... that just pisses me off.

it would be like giving the vanguards instant kills against boss enemies.
it's even more ridiculous when i see the 3 krogans melee ing the last banshee and not get executed, but then as a human Vg i charge a banshee, and the instant i hit that, I get picked up and killed because the biotic charge is broke.

Tactics mean **** all when it comes to being sucked in from across the map due to lag, or when the phantom just appears out of nowhere and one shots you. Read what people are complaing about...nobody is saying "awe, I have to use tactics but I don't want too...".
Lag is a fact of online gaming. Deal with it.
And that problem of the random phantom that "just appears out of nowhere" can be helped with BETTER TACTICS!

I don't mind the executions, I just wish there were some different animations/effects besides "step on face"...occasionally putting the gun to your head and BLAM...or emptying a clip into you or stabbing you...
...I don't really want to think about what a cannibals execution move would look like, but...a cannibals execution should look like that.
It'd be funny if the atlas would pick you up and toss you up in the air and you get a POV view of you whirling in all directions.

Also get revived just to get instakilled at the moment you get up by a phantom or a banshee really.. sucks..

This is how I feel about it, yeah... I wouldn't want her to be unable to insta-kill anymore, nor even for it to stop being random, because then she wouldn't be as scary to fight. But those times that I've had lag and been inexplicably grabbed from what feels like a mile away, it didn't feel scary at all, just--yeah, cheap. So if that could be fixed, it would be awesome.Brenon Holmes wrote...
Yeah, she was a bit of an experiment... on the whole internally I think we're a little split on the feeling of it. It does make her scary - but it can definitely feel cheap sometimes too (especially with lag on clients). :happy:
P.S. Thanks to you (and everyone else involved) for making the sniper gameplay in ME3 awesome!

They need to fix the banshee because that **** pulled of some space jam **** on me once :/
