Once I was able to workaround the patch and get a connection today (see thread about broken patch) I foolishly tried to purchase a PSP with real money (MS Points).
I got the failed to process message, but unlike many cases I have heard of, the message would not go away. I called EA Support to find out about it. Per the real money, I have to contact MS for that (stinks) but as to the message not going away they have no idea. They said to post here for help, so here I am.
I have turned of the console and logged back in. I have redownloaded my gamertag per phone support.
