Not possible. That guy is one of the reasons some people don't have their Commendation Packs yet.

If you can, snap a screenshot of it and send it off to the relevant parties at BioWare.

As above: He abused an exploit. Report to BioWare & also report via his gamer card so you find him less often.

Out of curiosity, why is this not possible? If he bought enough spectre/premium spectre (either with BW points or credits), isn't that possible? Or is that not possible because they don't come in either of those packs?

It's not possible because it's only available in the event packages. So far there have only been two events, so for him to have earned ten is out of the question.

The Valiant comes from commendation packs, not spectre packs. Without abusing the exploit, rank II is the highest rank currently possible.

This user is the reason why a sizable number of people don't have their commendation packs yet. The user exploited a glitch that allowed him or her to receive unlimited commendation and victory packs.

In response, Bioware has stopped rewarding these packs. While this prevents this exploit from continuing, it also has prevented people being rewarded their packs at all.

So yeah, report this person.

Huh. K. thanks for telling me why. Can't Bioware go through all the players accounts and identify those with rank3 or more of those weapon that are only in commendation packs, and do something to those accounts? (i.e. reset, remove that weapon, etc.)

edit: from what i understand the glitch or whatever it is takes away the victory pack away from others

Even if we had gotten ten packs already, the probability of him being a cheater would still be incredibly high. Assuming there's only five different N7 weapons a commendation pack will kick out and that each one does, the chance of any particular person having an N7 Valiant ten would be a little more than one in ten million.

Specifically, its 1/9,765,625
Or 1.024 * 10^-7

But the short version is there's only two out (for some people, thanks for getting me that commendation pack so promptly BioWare...) so he has to be a cheater.

This isn't the credit glitch. It actually affected OTHER players. So yeah, you can bet that if we see someone who abused it, we're going to report them. They're the reason a lot of people didn't get their Commendation Packs.

I have been told that N7s are possible from Spectre Packs, without about the same order of frequency as the Javelin and Black Widow rifles. Ultra-Rares, but not unobtainables.

I got my Javalin and Paladin from Spectre Pack. So I think it's possible to get all N7 weapons just buy spending credits. That said, my friend who are N7 300 only has a Javalin II

N7's only come from commendations.
