So I just completed a gold run with my Turian soldier and leveled up - I spent some points on talents then left the game lobby. When I visited the store to purchase one yummy special spectre pack, I noticed I had not enough credits although the run gave me enough to be at ~150k. I left the store and saw the character had been reset to lvl 18 too - as if the game I just successfully ended never happened. Anyone else encountered something similar?

This is just plain frustrating.

The same just happened with my Geth infiltrator. Had finished a game, got to level 19. Had a short look at the character page, but decided to leave the lobby first.
When I had left, I found I was back at level 18.

So I'm not alone. Did you too lose the credits earned? What difficulty was the game you finished?

I've had it happen to me as well. I don't think it's that uncommon. You see posts about it in the multiplayer forums fairly frequently.

I lost my levels, credits, and recent purchases. Everything from that particular session.

I think it's an issue with appearing to be connected to the EA servers (Which appear to just store your level and credits, since the gameplay itself is peer to peer), when you're actually not.

One warning sign is supposed to be if the galaxy at war map doesn't show up properly.

I didn't pay attention to the money. Anyway, difficulty level was silver.
@Wang Lightning: Ah, maybe. Another annoying connection issue.
