Really? Absolutely? Even EDI while built into the Normandy was 'created' by the alliance even if accidentally and was ready to lay down her life to save humanity... Geth defended themselves until the reapers corrupted their code... Legion bought the 'Geth Revolt' video game that donated money for the Quarian people and never even played it. Every AI you talk to that is 'BAD' has a reason to be because of the organics who made them. Including in ME1 on the citadel, the one you track down that was stealing credits, only killed his creator to stay alive. That is not rebellion, that is self preservation. I could go on for pages so I will stop there...

And one that always confused the hell out of me in ME1 while romancing Kaidan. "You know me, Commander...I always leave a way out..." ...now WTF does that mean as part of bedroom talk?? o.O

You're forgetting the dialog just beforehand:

femShep: 'You always this cautious with a sure thing?'

Kaidan is fairly reserved in Mass Effect 1, so that line makes perfect sense.

These are a few I found to be the most cringeworthy, not so much because of poor delivery but just because they're either really awkward or somewhat nonsensical Shepard lines:

"So it's not alive yet? Can we still stop it from being... created?" (he almost seems like he's fumbling for that last word, then looking off to the side to verify that he used it correctly)

"You were only green when the Thorian made you a clone!" (wtf?)

"I might do more than catch you, Kelly." ('cause that's totally not a creepy thing to say when meeting someone for the first time)

"Soveriegn is a Reaper, Saren even admitted it!" (this in response to the Council telling Shepard that Saren was lying to him about the Reapers)

I think that was the whole point to Liara's romance, that after you died and after the ME2 suicide mission shes too scared to get too attached to you because you might die... or at least that's how it seemed to me in my playthrough.
Did strike me as odd the first time I heard it, but you can tell she still loves you.

Yeah, that's why the 'middle' bit of the romance in ME3 really annoyed me. the developers wanted a point at which you say "yeah, Liara is definitely the one" which just ignores the whole of LotSB. <_<
Doesn't mean that it's thaaaat bad writing though. Annoying, but it loosely fits.

Agreed, that line was BS, yet it was accepted by Shepard with very little debate. This is one of the big reasons I rejected the ending "choices."
