His title was "Game crashes with "Unable to write "0x".... error in The Burning Tower"

The game recently started crashing in the Burning Tower with an unable to write message. It crashes out of the game to the desktop and oddly enough it most often happens while I am turning into a mouse. Anyone else have a similar experience or thoughts on how to fix?
