I've got a Tiger striped Drell Adept... Wish you could take screenshots from the 360 ffs... Looks really cool.

Oh and to get a cool looking metalic effect use black for the base colour and use white as the highlight. Turns into a lovely titanium look.

If only I would unlock character appearance cards could I actually customize my favorite class in the game: the Quarian. I would go crazy with the customization. Game just hasn't been kind enough to give me any appearance cards yet for her ...

My Gethgineer:

Primary: Black
Highlight: White
Secondary: White
Pattern: Any
Pattern Color: Black (it's a subtle effect)
Lights: Red

My salarian engineer uses the same...

(as for his skintone, just a small coalesced tweak adding a solid black swatch; only I see it, of course, as it'll default for others who don't have the same tweak.)

The other engineers can't pull of the silver (not shiny enough materials), so they're just white and red.

I have color-uniforms for all classes. xD Kinda like Star Trek, where they were color-coded red/blue/yellow.

Not the only one. I usually make everything black except highlight color.

I do this as well : Black primary + Highlight the color I want. It gives a nice metallic tint to the armor.

For the secondary, it depends, either black or grey. Black feels good for HS/HV and grey for lighter armors.
The secondary on aliens really depend.
