When playing multiplayer, I must always ensure that I am the host of the game: If I do not host the game, I am always unable to complete the match (thus losing all of my accumulated credits and xp).
First off, when hosting a game, I have no connection problems at all. The game runs smoothly, and I hardly ever lose connection to anyone. However, it can take up to an hour to actually find enough people for a match: people tend to leave the lobby if it takes more than five minutes for all slots to be filled. When playing Quick Matches, I generally find a good game within minutes.
Problem is, whenever I play a game I do not host, I lose connection in one of the later waves (generally wave 6+).
For some reason, matches I do not host generally run just as smooth as the ones I do host, and the connection is generally quite fast, but as some point during the match, I always get the "communicating..."-text in the upper-left corner of the screen. And when that text pops up, enemies stop attacking (and can't be attacked) and other players either freeze, or continue moving into whatever direction they were facing when the text popped up (they often walk through walls when this happens, and end up hundreds of meters from the playable map). After about a minute, I get the message that I lost my connection to the host, and I lose whatever progress I made.
If this was a rare problem, I wouldn't have any problems with it. But in my case, this happens every time I play a match I do not host: I have tried playing Quick Matches a few dozen times, and have not once completed a match...
Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?
