Thinking its kind of pointless as BW have stated the ending is not changing.
They can say that all they want. The fact is they said they are making "additional content". Therefore, the ending will be changed in some capacity. Whether that will satisfy anyone...well I suggest people wait and see.

I do appreciate the effort.
And I obviously approve of the price!

If the changes are more than subtle, it might ease the pain and make the endings bearable or even plausible.
Until then, I am withholding my appreciation or hate for the Extended Cut.
If I am not satisfied, ME3 shall be my last coin spent of BW's games. Until another pure gold product, I shall play their games. I just won't buy them. Simple as that.

*Chuckle* Curious? Dude, if you want to avoid spoilers you probably have to run past their department with your fingers lodged firmly in your ears EVERY DAY
That is actually pretty much what I do... LOL. I find screaming "LALALALALALA" helps a lot too.

Oh. My. Gosh. Amazing. Trend.

HOWEVER: that doesn't mean it will shut me up if I still find the ending wholy unsatifsactory after all the extra content is added. I'll will try and remain polite about it though (it doesn't mean I always will, just that I will try).

Hate the ending but at least be able to swallow it and perhaps even move on. Of course, this is a best case scenario. Me devs don't seem to want to add clarification so I can't say how good it will be.
Now, if they go indoc theory on us and open up some more stuff there is potential, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm feeling skeptical and cynical about the EC,
I've tried to find any way I can to placate my worries, posting, even creating topics, before this ending debacle I never posted, now I can't seem to get away from it until I know the series is being done justice. I still do not see how expanding a story with a blemish as its foundations is a good idea, its not going to satisfy. it may placate but it won't satisfy.
thats my suspicions anyway, and its sad that no one can put them to rest.
But I'll wait and see... I'm not liking the Devs closemindedness on all of it though, and its making further reconsider purchasing from BW or EA again. Either way, I'm going to be very, VERY cautious about it unless they do this right.

I too am intrigued, but not overly optimistic. Unless a significant amount of content is edited, I doubt it will be as successful as Bioware hopes it will be.
To be more specific, here are several segments that I think need an overhaul if the endings are not rewritten OR if the indoctrination theory is not expanded upon -[*]
- If Shepard is alive in the destroy ending, how did he/she survive reentry?
- How does synthesis work?
- How can Shepard control the reapers?
- Unless Shepard is being indoctrinated, how does the catalyst know to take the form of the child who dies back on Earth? More importantly, why does it have to be a human child?
- Why is Joker even running away?
- Why can't Shepard refute the star child's logic?
- How did Anderson reach the beam unscathed and manage to beat Shepard to the Citadel's console? The hallway leading to the console is clearly a straight path, but Anderson somehow beats Shepard to the end of it.
- Are the relays permanetly destroyed or simply disabled? If disabled, how soon can they be rebuilt?
- If the catalyst is part of the reapers why does it even assist Shepard in the first place?
- What happens to our crew? The Citadel races? How did our actions effect the galaxy?

Another one that kind of irked me was the mass relays exploding, which since it was established in Arrival that doing so would destroy the nearby systems. If they explained that one too that would be nice.
They already explained it in a interview. The Mass Relays did not supernova because they were not ruptured like the one in arrival.
Ahhh, very interesting. Kind of a sly way to explain it though: "Well, you see, even though we didn't even establish that they didn't go supernova, just take our word that they didn't go supernova.
That's good then, but I still feel like it should have some light shed on it.

I propose someone take the hit and download it, record it and put it on Youtube so we can try before we buy.
It's free. No Point.
As for how i feel, im not sure how to put it to words. Some amount of skeptiscim and hope i guess.

You can polish the turd but it's still turd.
This! They will not be able to explain all the plotholes.
Chosing to expand on the terribe ending will not make it a better ending.
The god-child needs to be canned, and the whole "Priority: Earth" mission needs to be rewritten.
That or going with the indoctrination theory - Which I personally would prefer.

I still want to know what the staff thought about the game. I don't want to hear it from the PR guy or Casey Hudson. I want to hear it from the devs themselves.
They say the endings just didn't live to our expectations, but it's much more than that. If one dev. stood up and said " it was EA's fault!." I'd smile.
