I am a very happy individual right now, mainly due to the recent announcement of the ME3 Extended Cut.  I actually let out a sigh of relief when I heard the news.  I am really eager to see how it ends up tying up some of the loose ends.  What do yall think (or hope haha) that it will address?  Unlike most fans who had troubles with the ending, I was not on board with changing it to something else, but I did have those nagging questions about some of the plot holes in the game.  My number one thing that I would like to see get a full explanation would have to be the scene where Joker is traveling away from the battle.  It felt too jarring for me compared to how everything else was going down.  I'd like to get yalls opinion on what you would like to see get some explanation too,  since there are a few oddball things about it.

Another one that kind of irked me was the mass relays exploding, which since it was established in Arrival that doing so would destroy the nearby systems.  If they explained that one too that would be nice. Posted Image

I'll give you my answer but before I do, just out of curiousity, did you play all three in the series, ME1, and ME2 before you played ME3? Just a little personal poll I'm taking for my own curiousity.

Anyway here's my answer to you questiion.

As long as they work within the confines of the current ending then it's still going to leave us with a terrible ending to a 5 year struggle to defeat the reapers. We will still get the same ridiculous  A,B,C choices. The relays will still be destoyed. Joker and what's left of the crew will still end up stranded on some far away planet. Shepard will still end up dead, and we will still be left with the unhappy, horrible, feeling of all our hopes for a good ending, and any reward for all our efforts being stolen and demolsihed.

Yep!  That's the only way to play the series IMO (I feel kinda bad for PS3 people)... And, in an overall perspective, Shepard surviving the final conflict would have made the whole thing feel a little cheap to me.  Yes, my shep died (I picked control 1st time), and the amount of emotions I was feeling as it was all going down was beyond words.

Then I started seeing the results, and, needless to say, I felt like the Troll face had popped up on my screen saying F.U.
