ARE THEY REALLY SERIOUS?

as for DLC, if it is interesting I will consider buying it, if not then I wont. As far as EA/BW is concerned.... they have broken my faith in them, so now ill treat them like all the other "big" game companies out there.

What happens if enough of you STILL don't like it? Do we start over? Endless cycle with the Fanreapers harvesting the devs every time? How can you NOT see that the whole concept of remaking something because you don't like it is flawed? That no ending could ever satisfy everyone?

You shouldn't say such things about Bioware.

Seriously though, first off, calm down, civil tongues and civil convo's, and can we please leave reporting mods behind and let it sort itself out?
On that note, I believe that the fundumental note of Woo's statement is true, it is POSSIBLE, arguable as it may be, its my belief, not fact.
That being said: it doesn't change the fact that its one of the most flat-out business damaging things to do in this situation.
Anything else I'd say has already been said. generally revolves about the outlook of, if you weren't going to do anything about the endings (as in FIX them, not EXPLAIN what is broken at a fundamental narrative level, seriously, read the threads, LISTEN.), then why did you even ask for feedback in the first place, much less why you keep saying you are 'listening', it all gets pretty hollow a statement if it counts for nothing in the end... that sounds familiar.

For what it is worth, they did a good job of an ending...but the ending doesn't fit. I'm sure in the right situation/game, that ending would be epic.
That being said, since the ending doesn't fit...a lot of us fear adding to it won't change the underlying fact that the entire ending is off.
Simply adding content to the current ending is highly risky, especially if our choices are not reflected in the outcome (and if the ending doesn't fit with the series). Which is where a lot of us are extremely skeptical. In essence, how can you add content to an already broken ending and manage to fix it? It seems somewhat unlikely to the rest of us.
I know you guys are working, and I appreciate what you have all done so far. So do many others. We all hope the ending is finished in a way that we can all be at least ok with.
Also, don't forget that we love BioWare's work so far (aside for the DA2 issues and a few other problems). We wouldn't be here nagging you guys if we didn't love what you all come up with.
PS. Been playing BW games since the Forgotten Realms games (Baldur's Gate and the such). Hoping you guys don't lose touch with the epic writing that kept me smiling and enthralled.

there are more but it would take to long to list but these are just 3 of MANY MANY things that we are being told by biowares own staff in there tweets then yesterday 2 of the staff (i will not say who but everyone knows who they are) are actually play testing the finished "extended DLC" those tweets were then deleted so it seems it was made pretty fast, so fast we are now thinking this was all planned from the start.
Can someone else confirm this or Chmarr is just making stuff up?

Although, admittedly, I am a "Retaker"...I do have to say you guys did a good job with the ME series. Yeah, the ending fell way short of the mark...and I understand someone put a lot of work into it and hey, I recognise that.

too tired to say what you said, this is about where I stand when I make sense. At this juncture, thanks for the reminder -PG-Skyre, Bioware, love your work, really do. Ending is the ending, everything else though? spot on.

I wouldnt be surprised if they started testing the incomplete parts of the EC DLC, but thats very diferent from saying that its already finished...

Yup. I'd say saying "but we didn't know" or "didn't mean it that way" is absolutely just a cop-out. But at least they're working on it. I just hope they'll add the option that Destroy would not destroy the Geth and EDI at a high-enough EMS.

Anyways, this thread has gone off the rails, tumbled down an embankment and spilled several thousand gallons of highly toxic material into the groundwater supply for the orphanage. So I'm locking it.
