I believe they stated that the first movie is going to follow the story of the first game.Mcfly616 wrote...
And umm....they've already stated that the movies won't follow the games storyline

But for the sake of the thread, I'll say Anna Torv. I love her in Fringe, she gives agent Dunham just the right mix of mission toughness, emotional vulnerability, and compassion towards civs. She'd make a good alternate Shepard.

My preferred opinion would be "nobody". Commander Shepard shouldn't appear in a movie because 99% of the fans will end up being annoyed about his or her gender, appearance, personality and decision making. In short, Bioware can never recreate "our" Shepards.

So...if they actually go through with this turd, then with the current ending it should be handled by Ewe Bolls and Shepard should be played by Dolf Lundgren. If they FIX the ending then Shepard should be played by Timothy Olyphant.

Don't know who but i want a femshep...... not boring male shep.
Riiiight.
Like the great female lead in "Salt" (bleh), or the fem lead in all the many "Resident Evil" movies (bleh), or the ridiculous "Underworld" movies with that female lead. Sure, they are all hotties but they suck as movies and as leads. How many female leads are required for action movies before they become cliche and "boring"? Claiming a male lead would be "boring" or cliche is as valid as using the trope of "artistic integrity" to defend the indefensible (the end of ME3). So cut it out.

My pick would be Stana Katic, I think her voice sounds kinda like Jennifer Hale's and based on her performance on Castle it seems like she could pull off a military character and be sexy at the same time.
You're awesome.

I think the person meant that Male Shep in particular would be boring, not male leads in general.
But hey, nice chip you got there.

FemShep: Olivia Wilde ( Not because she's hot. I can just see her being able to act like Shepard does in the game).
Joke answer: Michelle Rodriguez (she plays some pretty tough characters, but honestly I can see her getting casted as Jack).

Or Liam Neeson.
Cough cough
Somene say Liam Neeson? I can dig old space Shep.
But, if I were to choose, I would want an actor that does not do drugs and can actually act like he/she cares.
I cant name any now, but it will come to me sooner or later.
