Leliana and alistair are the only two you can harden i think.



Alistair might make a better king after hardening. Also they will see less unfavorably on your selfish acts, i think.

It's their personal quest. After contacting marjoilane you kill her then later say this is who you are stop running away from who you are, blah, blah you stab things blah, blah.

For Alistair you say everyone is just looking out for themselves.(after talking with Goldanna.)
