So we are supposed to believe that between 2 and a half or close to 3 million copies sold on the PC? Right, because the main fanbase was never on the Xbox.

The article says 4 million "sold-in to retailers". This means number sent to the retailers, not actually sold.

Two days ago it was around 1.5 million on consoles.

I find selling 2.5 million on PC hard to believe.

Edit - and we have the answer thanks to person above me. It's shipped, not sold. We already knew 3.5 million had been shipped.

This is only how many were shipped not sold.

If you take the reported above 943,000 Xbox out selling PS3 4 to 1 that means the PS3 only sold 235,000.
That equals 1,178,000 units sold between the Xbox and PS3.

I hope you're joking.

1) I hate the ending, but don't even use Facebook, so can't participate in whatever poll/thing that's there.
2) I didn't beat the game until this week, there are others who probably haven't beaten it yet either.
3) Even if someone beat the game, hated the ending, they may have moved on and not complained about it.

Learn to read.... 4 million sold to retailers.... that's not how many consumers bought the game.

PR spin people. Amount shipped to retailers does not entail actual amounts purchased by fans. Right now sellers have over 1.5-2 million copies of the game they haven't yet sold which is why ME3 is selling for less than $30 in some places.

True sales are hard to determine but as of last check vgchartz had them at 2.25 million sales give or take. Nowhere near 4 million.

Always watch for number of copies shipped vs. number of copies sold. 2 different numbers.

If they did ship 4 million, that would explain why it's on sale at a lot of places around me. Stores trying to get rid of the excess supply.
