is arcane warrior something for wynne. I use her for healing most of the time. But does she get lesser mana if you chose her to be arcane warrior. thx thx

No specialty penalizes you for chosing them. The thing with Arcane Warrior is that it lets the mage melee with a good attack and defense. If you like having Wynne healing, it won't supplement that role as it doesn't add anything she needs. She'll be just as good a healer as she is with the specialty.

Arcan warrior is a great spec for all mages, if you are worried about mana, don't ever activate combat magic and don't use too many sustained spells and pump a bit more point in willpower that's it.

It depends how you use her.  If you use her just for three spells (group heal, revive and heal) then yes, I've found AW works decently.  Just use combat magic with the fade shroud ability, don't use shimmering shield and put her in medium or heavy armor and you basically never have to worry about her.  Have her auto heal your party, don't even worry where she's standing.  If you wipe put up shimmering shield, arcane shield and rock armor and she'll take care of business for you and solo the rest of the mob.

But honestly, the best second specialization for wynne is blood magic for my play style.  I use Wynne as a buffer/healer to duo nightmare with a DW warrior.  Keeping him buffed takes all of her mana with 40 willpower.  So I made her a blood mage to give her twice the mana pool to heal me.

Actually Arcane warrior helps a great deal. After all, a dead healer can't heal for squat. Arcane warrior increase wynne's survivability 10 folds.

Yes, but if you want to use her for anything but three spells it's a waste of a specialization.  AW's don't ever have mana when their at their best.  When they aren't at their best they still don't have a lot of mana.  AW's aren't meant to cast spells.

Though if you give her 30 willpower or so, have her put up shimmering shield, combat magic, cleansing aura, her plot ability, rock armor, and arcane shield...She is pretty awesome.  She's just not going to be able to cast a single spell.  But she is healing your whole party passively, can't die, and has a mana potion and revival spell up her sleeve if one of you dies.
