Screw games before 2000, and their series continuations that followed, those games are for HIPSTERS.
ME = glitchy, rushed at times, content rmoved, unneeded changes mad, 0 consistancy, and an unsatisfying finish.

Halo Wars is the only good STG its pretty cools and Halo is greatest gamez ever there all awesome expect ODST was about a 8 for many reasonz but everyone knows Halo 4 is gonna kick ME3s ass over and spank it hard

Why? Microsoft's gaming focus beyond Halo and Gears of War is pretty horrible.

No it doesn't deserve it, but not because of the endings. It's the fact that it's devolved from what 1 and even 2 was. I enjoyed playing it, but not as much as the first two. Also, it's too early to start thinking GOTY for anything though. We still got Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite, Diablo 3, and other games still to come.

No offense, but Halo really upset me with how 2 ended. Haven't played another since. Although I am getting the reboot of the first. Many good memories with that stellar title.

I'm not quite sure if ME3 is GOTY material in general. To me, it might well be.

I'm not saying it's a perfect game or anything, but purely from personal experience, the fun-factor, replay value (well, at least hopefully, when extended DLC comes out), and even the MP, which I never usually like really and have done so in ME3 all along, ever since I got it working, I would say it has potential.

People mentioning different games, such as Diablo 3, highly anticipated by many (I was in this group as well for years, not any more though), might be right, but judging from what I've seen following the development closely, I don't think it will be. In my opinion Diablo 3 is really over hyped product that will most likely fall flat as a pancake.

As it stands, obviously not knowing exactly what Diablo 3 is going to be like, I would definitely choose ME3 over it, for GOTY and in general as well.

Any other games that might compete against ME3, who knows, but we'll see. Like said, it has potential.

Not to mention it has the always online attachment now which has caused a fuss. No mod support will also be a big no-no for it. Personally, I'm looking more forward to Torchlight 2.
