And what are those games? Ass Creed that makes as much sense as the ME 3 ending. Or Bioshock which is the same as AC. Or maybe Max payne where you spend 99% rolling around on the floor in slow motion? Or or wait, Diablo which is pretty much a hoarding game. I am sorry, they are all great gameplay games but their plots and overall stories are even worst that the ME 3 ending.

Who even cares about Halo anymore?

Me, and many others are looking forward to it. Halo was almost always awesome, and has a very good story which halo 4 will expand upon. Halo 4 for GOTY.

And the chances of an exclusive game like Halo to win GOTY are?

They are good, previous Halo games have won before.

People are going to flip **** when a game which they can not even play wins GOTY. In my opinion that would just be an insult to PC and PS3 gamers.

Halo's reputation died with the developers from 343, did you forget?

The developers didn't want to do another Halo, instead a team with only some of the original developers is making Halo 4, and initially it was supposed to only be a Trilogy, but Microsoft forced them to do more.

Anyway, Halo has good story sure, but I couldn't care less about their multiplayer.

Yes, and those are only the one's I figured had a chance, they aren't all the games that are actually coming out, who knows, any of the ones I didn't include might be an underdog with a surprise.

Really your the first I heard of hating that game(i think), but you know it been 4 years since the last game and I dont think I've ever played a bad rockstar game so my hopes are high

Really your the first I heard of hating that game(i think), but you know it been 4 years since the last game and I dont think I've ever played a bad rockstar game so my hopes are high
And am sure its one of the most anticipated games.

I think this year has A LOT of anticipated games honestly, to say that one has more anticipation than the rest may not be logical at this point.

Even Halo or Far Cry or Assassin's Creed 3 may not have as much anticipation as normally because of so many other games coming out. I thought ME3 would be the winner for the entire year, but I was obviously wrong after it came out and we saw it for what it was.

In that regard, I must say that I have an opinion, I am allowed one, and it differs from you. The style of GTA, the atmosphere, the type of story, and the type of content as well as immaturity in it simply isn't for me and never has been.

From what i have read, it is made from the best and brightest of the fans, and mostly former bungie and a bunch of guys from all over gaming, including one from ME. Also the guy left because he wanted to start his own thing, and only a couple left anyway.

Bungie maintains the majority of the developers, only some of them left, directly from the wikipedia, the site, and the public announcement on Bungies website and 343's response.

343 is basically a way to milk the franchise of Halo, for Microsoft.

The only award ME3 deserves is the worst ending in a video game award. It gets number 1 there

It had potential, definately worth a nomination but it will probably go to either the 8th COD game, Halo 4 or Bioshock: Infinite (my money's on Bioshock). It was great but there were some very glaring issues like the lack of anytrue focus on the ME2 characters outside of Mordin, Thane and Miranda and even they got the shaft in favour of blue sideboob. Also the ending was far from underwhelming (and that isn't a compliment), it took BioWare the rendering of ME1 down to a plothole and ME2 down to a filler game in order to come up with a second excuse as to why the Reapers do what they do and it still sucked. Also BW took several shortcuts such as using a stock photo for Tali's face. Finally MANY noticeable bugs (face import, MP items resets etc.) were prominent from the outlet. That combined with the release of Day 1 DLC that probably would have made the game tenfold better if included on the main discs soured the tastes in everyone's mouth. (And even with the apologies from BioWare i,e, free MP DLC, "Uncut" DLC and whatever else they plan on doing I don't see it being enough to calm down the haters.

That being said I don't blame BioWare for ANY part of it. It all came down to time, time they didn't have because EA squeezed the deadline like they do EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR GAMES. With more time BW could have probably could have expanded the development of the ending (which they are doing now) or thought up a better one in general. With more time they could have designed their own Tali face, one that was much more satisfying. With more time they could have properly tested the game and saw the numerous bugs (but some you do need a mass sample for, such as the maintenance issues on the servers). With more time they could have gave more focus on each individual romance/relationship Shepard had instead of cameoing guys like Jack, Grunt and Samara into side missions some people probably skipped because of their canon Shepard (Such as the Grissom Academy mission which my non canon Shep left because she likes to get things done quick not pretty. With more time the game would have been Game of the Year quality.

Tl;dr

1. Too many bugs.
2. Shortcuts taken.
3. Release of Day 1 DLC.
3. Not enough focus on Romance/Characters from ME2.
4. Ending sucked.
5. EA's fault.
6. Close but no cigar.

No, those are the ones I fully expect to have the highest chance based on hype, following, and the quality or content put in them.

Also Pokemon has never been a GOTY, I don't know what Chainsaw is, and I put Ghost Recon in there.
