Skyrim says hi.

The game play and story is a hell of allot better then the previous GOTY, and it dosent have half the bugs and the bugs it dose have are minor.

Excuse me? MINOR? Here's a quick summary of my SP experience:

-It crashed my 360 more times than Fallout 3 and New Vegas COMBINED - six times in total.
-I lost count of how many times the character Shep was talking to vanished, leaving me talking to a wall.
-Squadmates getting stuck in the geometry at least 3 times, that I can remember.
-One occurence of an NPC getting stretched to about twice her actual height, which was strange, but then Shep looking straight up to keep eye contact made me LOL.

You may have somehow been lucky enough not to get these bugs (unlike many, MANY others), but don't think you are a valid representation of the customer base. Take a look at the bug threads, and be grateful for your luck.

None of those glitches happend to me, my brothers or my freinds.

Yeah, but atleast Bethesda actually fixes their ****ing games.

Its probably up for worst game of the year. Biggest budget, biggest delay, and worst ending in the hostory of gaming. All because Casey and Mac didn't want the game to be too 'gamey'.

****ing ridiculous.

I get being butt hurt enough to say its not GOTY when it is but worst ****ing game of the year?

In a year with Game of thrones, Ninja gaiden 3, Neverdead, Serious Sam, and Amy !?!?

As far as the games you mentioned...

GoT has terrible gameplay and characters, but the story is apparently really good. NG3 doesn't deserve the vitriol slung its way - it changed a few gameplay mechanics, and it's still fairly solid. Neverdead has terrible gameplay, but at least the "detached limbs" concept is a novel one. Serious Sam (3?) was great. Amy was garbage.

ME3 is nowhere near the bottom, but it isn't near the top either. It's just...average.

GOT Graphics were so bad that the storyline isn't even worth it

NG3 took out every thing that was goo about the serise, people make fun of BW for their artistic integrity but NG3 is what happens when you dont have any, the boss fights were a joke, it was easy, their was no skill or customization, or  unluckables, it was just terrible all around

never dead took a cool idea and excuted it so poorly no one will ever try it again.

You just lost all credibility for bringing graphics into play, first of all, the graphics were fine, and secondly, graphics should only take up a very small portion of an opinion, graphics don't make the game.

They do when they are that bad.  To say they were fine MAkes you loose crediblity, the graphics in the game of thrones were horrendous.

Depends. Individual sites and magazines decide their own GOTY. IMO, no, ME3 is not GOTY worthy. But then again I was much more hyped for FFXIII-2 and it lived up to mmy expectations. So there's that....and the fact that ME3 was pretty middle of the road throughout and then ended on a ridiculously low note.

Bull****, the game functions perfectly fine, i've beaten it several times, and once was after the big patch, I had no issues whatsoever, the game breaking bugs were at release, and they patched those immediately. Now GTFO

argue with my copy which i have uninstaled and reinstaled three times and  i still haven't made any prgress, their patches are faulty, and they are (or have i stoped carying after their last epic fail) relasing yet another big patch.

No, it is not. ME1 and ME2 were though. ME3 has too many issues, most glaring of which is the way the conclusion was handled and broke the universe.

The point is, that this is a major glitch, I'm not an isolated incident it was wide spread, and persisted after their patches for many people and Skyrim STILL won GOTY.

In skyrim ive had not only that glitch happen, but have characters walk into another room mid conversation.

To be fair, Bethesda do communicate with their fans more tactfully. They don't pretend to be cosey with them, but they do deliver to the majority when pressured on things.

FO3 is a great example, the DLC they produced for that was amazing, exactly what fans asked for.

They immediately dropped the microtransaction DLC with Oblivion, now look at Skyrim, free updates with new kill cams, it shows how they learn from mistakes.

But yeah, the main point with Bethesda is they have demonstrated they walk the walk, even without talking the talk.
