Mass Effect 3 is a damn good game, yea some people may not like the ending but there are others that do. in my opinion...its the best game bioware has ever made and is well worth the money.

Too much autodialogue, too much canon Shep forced down my throat, too much canon friendships, too little choice, no neutral option 99% of the time, bad ending and just...no.

Game of the year? I thought so until the end. Now? Nope. I haven't even finished my second playthrough - that's how disillusioned I am with Mass Effect. I'll vote for Call of Duty before I vote for ME3. And I hate CoD. Call me petty.

Yes, because it's a fantastic game and better than pretty much anything else released this year.

The focus on people's relationships and lives, the story, the atmosphere, the gorgeously detailed maps (complete with birdsong), the fact that Shep's teeth look like teeth and not a giant plastic mouthguard, the beautiful music, basically just more Mass Effect = Yes.  99.95% of this game is beyond outstanding and well-deserving of a GOTY title, by a long shot.

The last ten minutes of this outstanding game, where my fiery warrior basically just turns into a blank-minded automaton incapable of tying his own shoelaces, however beautifully rendered, envisaged, scored, and brought to life, is (imho) not so much.

A game that is terrible almost from start to finish and not only ruins its own replay value but the games that came before it. I have about 6 Shepards from ME1 and 2 that will never be imported to 3. Makes me wonder why I even bought those games. Right now I think it would be better off if I never even heard of Mass Effect.
I'm tired of people saying "its just the last 5 minutes your letting that ruin a great game"
No actually the ending isn't even the worst part and its more like your letting a couple of good parts blind you to just how god awful this game really was.
Game of the year? My ass if it doesn't make worst game of the decade I'll lose all faith in humanity.
