Surprised there's no topic for this, so here it is:

Confess your sins:Why did you kick that random poor soul that wanted to play with YOU?

I'll start:

These are either in gold or silver

1. I've kicked a person because his n7 rating matched his level rating. Hint: It was lower than 2. In a gold lobby.

2. I've kicked a person due to his name, who wants to know the size you wish your p**** was?

3. I've kicked a person for being a bold drell adept rocking a widow I with a revenant IV.

4. I've kicked a person for being krogan (granted, I wasn't sober).

5. I've kicked a person because I wanted to know what the X meant (yep...)

Edit:

6. This is a fun one. I was in a gold lobby with 2 of my friends and a random player. One of my friends had to restart his game and left the lobby. The random guy then also left and in came 2 new ones. Both were decently geared and N7 400+ rating, both had mic. Then my friend had come back online and was ready to go... but the team was full. This was my solution:

I said on the mic "I'm sorry one of you new guy has to leave (and i said both their names), and to decide which one of you it will be, the first one that vote kicks the other guy will stay." And I saw both of them trying to kick each other, one was a little bit faster than the other so he stayed and completed gold 5 times in a row with him.

I've kicked people for idling for 2-3 minutes when the other three people are ready.

Because they were low level, with low level basic weapons.

And they were a Vanguard with a sniper rifle, and a shotgun

I kick people for lulz all the time.

They serve only one purpose anyway, to draw fire away from me, so it doesn't matter if they're good or not. So long as they're there.

I've only ever kicked people because they would not ready up.

I only vote to kick someone if I count to 20 and they still haven't readied by then. And I mean 20 very slow seconds, not WUNTOTHREFOFISIX. I may add on another 10 seconds if they don't have a mic- but if I can see they have a mic, and haven't said anything but are just sitting there, then yeah I wanna' play and I don't wanna' wait.

I only kick people who take more than 2 minutes to ready, or if they were absolutely TERRIBLE in the previous match (placed last with less half of #3 score, and were not visibly playing a support class; hacking objectives, lots of revives, part of a BE/TB team).

I thought I was patient and tolerant. I would have kicked after about 1 minute after everyone else was ready. Only ever kicked 2 people for that reason.

I've kicked plenty of people. Level 1 N7 on gold, because they lagged last game or they didn't do anything. rarely I kick people for no reason. Usually if I want friends to join me I leave the game not kick.

Vanguard with a Widow I tried to join a gold match with us. I doubt he even saw the rest of us before we booted him.

I don't even feel bad.

I don't think I've ever kicked someone from Silver or Bronze unless they were being a tool-bag and not readying up.

I've only kicked for idling too long, or N7 Lvl1's in Silver lobbies.

I've only ever kicked so far because the others in the lobby already voted and he didn't really fit for the macth (low level, odd loadout,etc...). I'm all for playing with whoever regardless of class/level/whatever. Normally I feel bad if someone gets votes and I don't feel they deserve them, but that's just me.

AFK's

People that both are low level, low n7 and have lowtier gear, in gold

People with a red mic icon

Ive seen adepts rock with widows, and soldier scoring massive with predators, i wont kick anyone if i have the feel they can contribute, if i outscore them 2 to 1 early on i will refuse to use rockets/gel/etc, if they can keep up, ill give my best to win and maybe take equipment into the next round

Human vanguards with a super light weapon. Kill everything up to wave 5 then my poor Krogan is playing medic for the rest of the game, and i hate playing medic. I don't hate the class, it just seems like whoever likes to power spam that class 9/10 times always suck and just becomes a burden to the team (based of of silver difficulty). On gold i'll kick low level people on gold. I had a level 1 join in before lol.

I kick vanguards with sniper rifles. Actually, I'm kinda disturbed at how many people I've seen have sniper rifles on vanguards.

I kick people with sub-100 N7 ratings in my gold farming runs if they're not playing an "optimal" class. I don't even feel bad about that one. The rest of us want a smooth game; take your experiment to bronze, silver or a gold lobby that doesn't care.

I kicked a guy once on bronze because he was just that bad.

I kick people who join the lobby and aren't ready to go in 30 seconds.

I'm not sorry for any of these. Hell, I wouldn't even mind offering advice but speaking to people with microphones that REFUSE to speak makes you feel like you're pouring knowledge into a bottomless pit of stupidity. The Sisyphus's task comes to mind. I'm here to have fun, and I don't owe any explanation to someone who thinks I owe them consideration they refuse to me.

I consider myself to be pretty tolerant when it comes to kicking.  I typically won't kick unless they're taking way too long to ready up, more than three or four minutes.  Now I may also kick if they absolutely sucked in the previous round, but I usually can't succeed on that, because some newcomer shows up and doesn't know the story.  So they don't get kicked, and I have to either put up with them for another match, or leave.  And I hate leaving when I'm the host.  Is that just me?  Leaving when you're the host should be something you do only when you are ready to stop playing for a good while.  I don't like hosts that leave when they don't get their way, especially in the middle of a match.

Like many here, the only time I've voted to kick someone was when the other 3 of us had been ready for several minutes and the last guy was totally unresponsive.
