Confess your sins: Why did you kick that random poor soul that wanted to play with YOU?

6. This is a fun one. I was in a gold lobby with 2 of my friends and a random player. One of my friends had to restart his game and left the lobby. The random guy then also left and in came 2 new ones. Both were decently geared and N7 400+ rating, both had mic. Then my friend had come back online and was ready to go... but the team was full. This was my solution:

I said on the mic "I'm sorry one of you new guy has to leave (and i said both their names), and to decide which one of you it will be, the first one that vote kicks the other guy will stay." And I saw both of them trying to kick each other, one was a little bit faster than the other so he stayed and completed gold 5 times in a row with him.

Man... That's about as low as you can get...

Only time I ever kick someone is when after a couple of minutes they still aren't green up.

If a low level comes into the server I simply leave and rejoin/rehost. I only play pubs, so losing those people in the lobby doesn't really matter, as more random people will soon join. But on bronze or silver I don't really care who joins.

I wish, however, that I could kick leechers, people who don't do anything and just sit there, piggybacking. I ******* hate them! I usually simply play for fun but I can't stand the attitude of such people. It's wrong on so many levels. So I really wish I could kick them, hopefully to change their minds.

Only kicked to get a specific 4th into a game.

Had a level 8 in my gold game yesterday, but he managed okay. We got the extraction and that's all that matters in the end.

I saw an N7 2000 with level 1 geth engi and GPS X on bronze and clicked kick.

Thought he would ruin the game for everyone.

I kick if they're not readying up, if they try to kick me and if they're too low a level but only on silver.

OH.. here's a good one:

Here's a guy, N7 890, hosting a public game on Silver. 3 People, including me all below N7 200. The host starts swearing and ****ing "get out of my game noobs! You all suck," and then a bunch of words that get censored on these forums.

I voted to kick the leader 3 seconds into his rant. The other 2 followed suit. Leader kicked from his own game, hosting goes over to me, same people stick around (I know, raaaare), another random player joins and we kick butt on Silver for about 3-4 rounds.

Best kick ever.

I think the only two reasons I kick someone:
1. Taking too damn long to ready with no real reason for it.
2. I sneeze or just accidentally hit the button out of stupidity, in which case I apologize and rescind it.

The second on actually happens a hell of a lot. I have pretty bad allergies this time of year which means I mute my mic so I'm not the amazingly annoying phlegm machine.

Because he died within the first 10 seconds 11 waves in a row. You can't possibly be this bad. I guess maybe the guy was leeching but wanted to make it look like he just sucked. Not really sure if that makes sense.

because his N7 rating was the same as his chosen character level: 3

Everyone else was N7 200+ and we were playing on Silver.

We kick anyone who joins our Gold runs with a low level character and refuses to switch. We also kick Human Vanguards because without host the chance of them glitching is almost 100% at some point and it can ruin the game. The only other time we boot players is if their load out is terrible, such as a Widow 1 and Claymore 1 on a Human Adept.

I regularly get players mad at us for kicking them but I don't want to waste 20-30 minutes of Reaper battle to lose at the end due to a liability.

He/She has taken his/her sweet time of 12 minuts in the lobby, doing nothing and no pressing ready.
We won gold with 3 people.

This comment really crystallizes everything that's stupid about your opinion of how people should play.  If someone can rock the OpFor with a sniper rifle, I could care less if they're an adept or a sentinel or an infiltrator.

I didn't kick anyone, but I avoided a player today.

He just barely used decoy, he never kept it up and just missed the whole point.

They were too low level for our gold and silver lobbies with my best friend and they normally have no mics. A team is inly as strong as its weakest link and when were cred hunting we cant afford to carry FNGs. Its the harsh truth of the world im afraid.

Because he was N7 with a lvl 7 human adept with a shotgun and a submachinegun on a gold match. Thought he maybe got lost, and since he didn't notice what difficulty he got into, i lend him a hand to get him back to whatever difficulty he wanted to really play.

i only kick people under 2 conditions

1)They arn't ready when everyone else is
2) to low level for the current difficulty

I run into gold teams with iffy looking setups, I usually just leave rather than kick.

For being idle and unresponsive.

But I have been kicked simply for experimenting with new loadouts.

So you kicked him for not doing what YOU wanted him to do?

I personally hate the decoy, and only use it on Guardians.

yeah that's pretty much the only reasons I kick people

maybe one more

3) they have an extremely crappy loadout, adept biotic with 2 heavy weapons etc.
-200% cooldown etc

I kick people for lulz all the time.

They serve only one purpose anyway, to draw fire away from me, so it doesn't matter if they're good or not. So long as they're there.

Evil or genius? Either way, I approve.

Why not Evil Genius?
