The only time I or my team have ever kicked someone is when we're playing together, and one of us leaves and the host forgot to set it to private, and while we're on vent getting someone to fill their spot a pug jumps in.

I kicked a person because I wanted to switch chars but was on the menu viewing char set ups. Right after my vote the other 2 people voted to kick him. Kind of laughed at that one.

Gold game. Geth. Firebase White. Entered the lobby wearing my overload-wielding, Carnifex-equipped engineer. Kicked within seconds, to a chorus of "OHMYGAWD get a real gun!"

Bullet dodged. Never been so glad to be out on my ass. *g*

Back to the topic at hand, though: I prefer to leave instead of kicking. A few exceptions:

- We've spent more than a minute waiting for you to signal Ready.
- You sat idle during the last game.
- You've stumbled into a Gold lobby while wearing a single-digit N7 rating.

That's it. I've seen absolutely bizarre builds succeed, and I've seen dysfunctional-looking teams shine once in the actual match. I can carry a glitchy Vanguard if I have to, and I don't generally give a stuff about your N7 rating; heck, mine's in the low hundred-something range, simply because I've got my two engineers exactly how I like 'em and do not feel compelled to promote and start over.

But don't leave your toon in a lobby while you wander off to find a hot pocket.

Only reason I ever kick people is because of these reasons-v

1. They're using a level 1-5 on Silver or they're using a level 1-10 on Gold. (With a low N7 rating. As within 20)
2. Me and my friends trying to create a Biotic or Tech explosion team and letting a player that doesn't fit in play with us kinda ruins the purpose..
3. People who sit there for 5 minutes without saying "Brb", don't give any indication they're changing their character stuff, or have a mic. Only when everyone else is ready and they're not, though.

I'll just keep turning on the vote and then turn it off just to see if that gets their attention, mind you this is after repeated attempts to communicate via mic. But I honestly just leave if the person takes more than a minute or two.

- Low N7 (70 or less). Get some experience in silver, and get to know all the classes.
- Level 10 or less. Normally also low N7.
- Vanguard level 5. Normally low N7 as well.
- Stupid set up. Asari Adept with Widow and heavy shotgun. Normally low N7.
- Making room for a friend. Normally, after a public game, change to private and someone connects. If we are 3 friends, and we were playing several games with "a stranger", we all leave and start a private game.

-When I join a gold game alone, I leave lobbies where nobody uses any kind of equipment, or uses weird set ups or unbalanced teams.

Whenever someone doesn't get in the extraction zone, I immediately rage spam the kick button, and if they don't actually get voted out, I rage quit. I refuse to play more than one round with idiots who won't get in the extraction zone.

I'll never kick because of character class/species, I've completed Gold runs as a pretty much everything but a Vanguard (haven't tried actually, tempted now that I got the Krogan... but melee = suicide on Gold more than not)

I've kicked people for taking too long to ready up, being far too low to be in a Gold mission (character below level 15), for being a liability in the previous round (always dying, being rambo, not contributing by say... hiding in a corner near the extraction zone on Benning for the whole game?), or for having obviously bad setups (Asari Vanguard with a Falcon and Widow? Wtf?)

Well, I normally play on Bronze, and occassionally on Silver (not on Gold as I don't have a mic), and the only reasons I'll kick are if:

1) someone is taking too long to ready up in the lobby (I give low level guys longer time after a match as they usually gain 2 or 3 levels). a second over 5 minutes, and you're gone.

2) going afk during a match (I've actually seen this happen quite a few times, even in Bronze). there is no excuse for this and i will kick you before the next match. granted, real life can happen, but please exit the game and don't make people carry you.

3) d-bags spouting d-bag phrases on their mic. get over yourselves, seriously!

reguards to 2

If they are half assing it is one thing then away and come back to half ass it is one thing
But i have to go away now and then but i have a valid reason and i might be gone 4 mins
I always try to wait between games but at times there is no way i can wait

We still win though. gold too

but i do see those that i think are watching tv or tweeting and those need to go

I kicked an engineer totoing a black widow and a claymore from a gold lobby. I don't kick people on silver, but on gold I don't have time to lose 'cause of your crap.

To invite a friend who just logged on/came back from afk, when there's already 3/4 in the group. That's the only reason I've ever kicked.

Edit: Forgot, once I kicked because an N7 rank 1 joined for a Gold que. Nothing against the guy but a level 1 with no possible gear doesn't belong in gold.

I make a lobby with myself and two friends, and whenever one of us takes too long, someone usually tries to kick one of us for not readying up. This person always gets instakicked. And it always feels good.

Normally I give people a chance, but today I create a lobby, and 3 guys with extremely bizarre loadouts jumped in. Okay, it's silver, I will give a try, Their N7 was high enough, maybe they are just trying something different.

Wave 1, all three run to the mostly stupid places in the map (reactor-cerberus), I run after one of them to see how much time he will take to fall, was really fast, them the other two fall in opposite sides of the map. WAVE 1!!! I leaved the match...

I kick people in silver lobbies when they try to use their level 1-5 characters. Go leech off someone else.

I kick people who were terrible the previous game.

I kick people who take longer than about 30 seconds to ready up.

I kick people with obnoxious names (example from a game I played earlier today: sum1 2 pro 4u).

I kick people who breathe heavily/play music/have other annoying background noise coming through their mics.

I kick because I hate people who use the Human Vanguard. (Really)
I kick because you are a low level character with poor equipment.
I kick because your n7 level and class level are at 20.

Kicked one guy because we'd played a Silver match in which he died about 700 times with his level 20 character. But okay, at least he was doing something, and he was trying, and he helped with objectives, and he didn't rage-quit or whine when he bled out, so fair enough. We can't all be gods at this game.

Then in the next lobby, he switches out his level 20 character for a level 3 character.

Yeah, no. <_<
