I've never kicked anyone in a single game yet. I am so nice.
Confess your sins: Why did you kick that random poor soul that wanted to play with YOU?

2) going afk during a match (I've actually seen this happen quite a few times, even in Bronze). there is no excuse for this and i will kick you before the next match. granted, real life can happen, but please exit the game and don't make people carry you.
That's an odd one. You'd rather try to finish a Silver match with three people than have a guy take a few minutes off and come back?
I know, that doesn't happen that often, most times they are leaching, but still. If a guy has to take a quick 30 second leak, I'd rather he turtle for 30 seconds and comes back, as opposed to leaving me 25% firepower short on Silver. (Not that it can't be done, but I prefer not having to grind my fingers down to nubs trying to kill those four Banshees by myself.)

I've only ever kicked a person once and it was because he made us wait like 4 minutes while he messed around in the menus or was AFK, he went AFK for half the previous round.

This thread has reassured me that my hypothesis that the internet is infact filled with 30 year old's who act like 12 year old's, is in truth accurate.
Thanks!

rank 2 level 2 battlefield soldier on gold... for obvious reasons
various people waiting 10 or so minutes to ready up for no reasons when the rest of the team is ready

I've only scanned through 2 pages, but it looks like nobody's getting kicked over playing Drell Adept?
@OT -
I'm just a (somewhat) casual gamer, so I'm generally pretty lenient
1. Too long to get ready
3. New players on Silver/Gold
4. Bad team mate on previous round

Warning: Wall-o-Text
This happened on gold. Silver/Bronze is pretty easy. I was farming geth on firebase white with randoms. Needed some credits to buy a few packs. Team had two infiltrators and a human engineer. Last person that joined was batarian soldier with claymore shotgun. I had a feeling that that guy was bad news in later waves. Anyways I decided to give him a chance. First minute in the game I had to go revive him coz he would stray too far from the location where we all were hunkered down. After reviving him I asked him on mic to stay with the group. But no he would wander outside and get himself killed again and again after every wave or two. I would go and revive him when I was not busy downing geth primes. Engineer was crowd controlling and other infiltrator had rank 3 or maybe 4 vipers but was managing low level mobs decently.
Being the three of us we made it to wave 8 and then that heyes4eyes decides to commit the most disastrous blunder that would result in a wipeout. He goes outside, try to melee a group of pyros & hunters followed by prime, realizing that it's a lot more than he can chew hightails it out of there and then lead the whole armada yes even geth prime through the rear entrance near the ammo spot just behind the rooms with tables/counters for cover. Out of all farming games that was the first time a geth prime flanked us through that door. Usually it's just a lone geth hunter/rocket trooper.
All that heyes4eyes needed to do was stay with the group and falcon punch a hunter/rocket trooper that flanked and enjoy his share of 70-75k credits we would get after the game. After the game I said "bye bye" and initiated kick vote and within one second he was booted...

I've kicked people for idling for 2-3 minutes when the other three people are ready.
I've done this a couple times. I feel silly afterwards though, since we have to wait for a fourth guy to come into the lobby.

mainly n7 rating. i don't usually host so generally i just leave instead of kicking. i don't like being kicked so i don't dish it out myself.
once i was in a group as a random and after a game in the lobby two wanted to kick one of the randoms. one PM'd me to do the same which i reluctantly did. next thing i know i was kicked next. would have just been nice to say they had friends coming. i would have left. instead some just go about it the wrong way

I only kick players out whenever they take too much time to prepare while the others are ready to go. Also if the player has not preformed well three times in a row. I have also taken myself out when I know I'm the one who is not contributing anything to the team.

I've kicked players who are obviously trying to get carried, like an N7 rank of 8 in a silver or gold match.
I've kicked players who try playing a level 1 character in gold or silver. (at least get to lvl 6 for silver which is 1 bronze match)
I will kick anyone without hesitation who is a jerk to any other player. There's no reason to be mean. If someone isn't playing well, make up for it yourself. If you can't do that, then you have no right to complain. I often score enough points to be higher than the 2nd and 3rd place players combined.
I've kicked players for spending too much time during prep, like going afk without at least letting the rest of us know. (I've been kicked for that twice myself... sorry to those players)

2 reasons only for me.
Taking too long to get ready. And I wait quite a while, but there's a limit.
If they are a low level character and their N7 rank makes it clear that they have never leveled that class to 20 before and promoted. I've had great games with lower level characters on gold, but you gotta cut your teeth on the training difficulties first.
Even with those two, I don't think I've ever initiated a kick, just added the second or third.

I actually get pissed when people try to kick, so I will actually reverse kick whoever isn't readying up because they want to kick someone. One time, this epic moron had two votes on him. I was alternating kick icons between those two that wouldn't ready up. Should have been obvious I was the guy not trying to kick him, right? Well, the other two immediately shift their votes to me, and he kicks me, soon to be kicked himself, I'm sure. Stupid ****stick. Maddest I've been in this game, all because of the sheer incredulousness of his stupidity.

I vote kick to make them hurry up because it has that effect on people.
I've kicked people for being less than n7 rank 40
I've kicked a guy for being a complete douschebag- basically him and his friend were in a lobby and they were being complete dicks. Bexause he didn't want one random person to play, he said hell just wait it out and enjoy a nice cigarette. We couldn't kick him because his friend was in the Libby. So we played gold and we played a match eventually because he thought me and random would leave but I just went to get a snack and watch some tv. After this, he shouted at the other guy because we failed round 10. Then his friend left and we kicked. And he wasn't like "you can't kick meeeeee!!!!!"
Iv kicked a guy for having a stupid class (IMO) eg an asari adept with a claymore and mantis.
Also kicked people I thought we're douschebags, had stupid names or played really badly (as in dies all the time and can't get past wave 6 because of him)

I unsuccessfully tried to kick a Turian Sentinel that didn't know that Turians actually have powers and that thought that melee was the best way to deal with a Banshee. Outscoring him four-to-one turned out to be very helpful in getting him to leave.

usualy when I try to play with friends and before my buddy can join someone else gets in because it takes forever to load. It sucks when your loading into a game that ends up being full but wasnt when you tried to join

I tend to put out an X when I see vanguard. Mainly if I'm hosting though. I know everyone has a right to play their favorite class, but vanguards have a lot stacked against them...the glitches, the way certain people use them so badly, etc.
I kick people for being low level on gold. Some people can probably manage it, but I just feel a bit better about going into a match if everyone's around 15 to 20 level wise.
If someone has a horrible mic that is broadcasting almost nothing but static...well actually I mainly leave the lobby since that sound drives me up the wall, but if I know the others in the lobby I might stick around long enough to kick. :-p
