 I finished me2 with 12 squadmates alive but my save file states they were 11. When I started me3 (which I really enjoy so far) I didn't remember the actual number of the me2 squadmates so I thought everything was right. But after having played around 30 hours I realised Legion -which by the way is my favourite me character- is supposed to be dead (?!?). This does not ruin the experience for me but I was very disappointed as I consider the continuity of the games being one of the biggest achievements of this excellent franchise in gaming.
