 Just finished ME2 for the second time with my awesome renegade  black female commander.  She owned that game! Tough, very aggressive yet respected among her crew and her lover.

I.ve had many different commanders for ME but none could hold a candle to her. The mannerisms That Bioware gave Shepard worked best for this type of character. The other females I used for Shepard seemed to prissy.

Ill be taking her into ME 3 and watching her do her thing. I just hope I don't have to retire her and that Bioware has something in the works for the near future. She's got a lot of life still in her.

And what about your Shepard.......

So far I've played a neutral and a Renegade Shep (still progressing through Paragon) in ME2 and continued with Renegade Shep in ME3.
All of mine so far (I just got into the series in January) are the same face and profile because I've become attached to it: White, brown crew cut, brown-eyed male Shep
I was going for a Chris Redfield sort of look to him

I chose to play my renegade player as female as well. I have to say, it was a lot of fun and almost a different game. I highly recommend a female renegade, earth born, ruthless.It is a great background in my opinion.
