Mine's better.

If I am playing with bad players, I fight on. Why? Because while everyone who complains about bad players, and not wanting to waste consumables on them... I'm teaching them something. So what if they are bad? Everyone has to learn somehow. Everyone starts somewhere.

Hell, I carried two new players earlier today (third one quit when he bled out on wave 3) by myself. Guess what? They stuck around, and got better. They picked up some tricks, and tactics.

yeah if im last standing i accept the challenge.
happened on silver wave 10 dagger vs cerberus other day.
my m8 and this random wiped and i was on my gi so i cloaked and started disarming the devices.
was funny because the other random left standing was having a dance with 2 phantoms under the round room(looked cool in hunter mode).

i checked the scoreboard and the random dead guy had left...
the other random died and i went on to do the rest of the objectives and clear house.

if some of the players start going down multiple times in waves 1-3. I just cut my loses and quit the game especially on gold.

Since I started playing MP, I've always been impressed by those Last (Wo)men Standing seemingly effortlessly soloing to keep the rest of us in the game. It's been so inspiring that if I'm in that situation, I always try to survive no matter the cost (also inspired by my sig...). I managed my first Last person standing challenge on Silver yesterday. It ended up with a solo fight against a Phantom which I won. Very satisfying!

I agree.  It's always a nice feeling knowing that you didn't give up, and just quit. (Maybe I'm just stubborn...)  I've gotten some nice messages from people for doing it...  even though when I saw the message bubble pop up, I figured it would be a "DAMNIT!  Just hurry already" kind of message...  lol!

I sometimes wait with my medigel to see if the enemy gives me some room to breathe once I get up. If 2 hunters a pyro and a prime are having a party on my corpse and more dudes are inbound I probably try once to get away but then lll save the medigel.

It is really satisfying though to finish an objective and/or the wave as last person standing :)

I uses to rule as last engineer standing in silver. But two days ago I horribly failed against the last geth hunter on gold. As Quarian infiltrator! They all watched me missing shot after shot. I finally ran out of medi gels. It was embarrassing.

Both good...  But  THIS is what plays in my brain-case when I'm the last alive. ;)

A player ending up soloing means s/he hasn't worked well with the rest of the team. The missions are supposed, and absolutely supoosed, to be completed by a team.

Sometimes true. Not always. Sometimes it's simply a matter of (bad) luck. Or a stupid team of randoms and one smart person. Or a bad team makeup (even with smart players, if the classes don't mesh and you're on Gold, bad **** will happen).

Just saying.

It probably boils down all to this: you either clean the wave or save your ressources.

Over the eastern holidays I was in many "bad" lobbies which failed more often than not to clean a wave and I tried my best, sometimes successful, sometimes not, to rescue the mission and get the credits. Now I may suck at this game as most often being the last man standing I need a bunch of medigels just to get to a safe position where I can fight the remaining enemies without getting overwhelmed by them. My supply on medigel got really low last weekend I had to fall back to buying recruit packs only to refill. As a consequence now in such a situation I limit myself to use not more than one medigel and if that is not enough, I let my character die.

I usually ask people do they want me to continue, because on gold it can be a long process to clean wave for one player. Not all want to wait, especially during early waves or if it's wave 10 and team got all creds.
Sometimes it's a real fun to complete objectives by yourself when other three failed and lie dead and then proceed to kill all enemies.

Or it could mean that I was the only one who didn't want to test out how much of a bullet-sponge they could be.  Revive all you want, some people seem to TRY to go down.  lol

I have been the last one standing a couple of times and it is thrilling! Especially if other teammates scream through their headsets that a stealth geth is behind me or they give other useful information. It's exciting! If I am not the last one I help others too with directions and such. Spectator mode = epic!

Take 15min if you must. I'd rather win.

Plus if you're that boring, I could just go grab a snack.

I try my best if I'm the last person left, but when the objective is to find and activate/deactivate four devices, it can be painful.
