I thought he ended up being pretty cool. Sure he's an alliance grunt, but he seemed like a nice guy and he was never as douchey as people kept saying he would be.

I think freddie prince jr did a great job as him, to be honest.

I even picke dhim for my squad a few times :D

He was alright, I don't really have an opinion of him as I rarely used him in my team.

I started liking Vega about the same time I started liking Cortez, when they started snarking back and forth at each other. Pretty much never used him as a squad mate, though.

Freddie's voice acting was one of the best in the whole game imo :P I love James! He's so cool! ;)

I really like Jimmy Vega (the pole-dancer xD) and don't understand why so many others keep complaining about his character. He is pretty cool and easily became one of my femshep's best friends. Regularly used him as a squad mate as well, didn't get his name tattooed "somewhere special" though ;D

I thought he was fine. He didn't make it onto my team often because I was always more interested to see what characters like Garrus or Liara would say during a mission. That's no knock on him, it's just that they were two characters that had been with me since Mass Effect 1, so on my first run I was all about getting all the story I could out of them. On my next play I'm sure James will get more time in.
His back and forth with Cortez was really well done.

Vega... He was cool and incredibly buff, but that's about it for me. He had a majorly decent voice actor but I still hooked him onto the final mission because I didn't really want to sacrifice anyone else. And so for second I had to pick EDI whom I REALLY to let die because she's so special now what with a body and stuff... But yeah, no, Vega, was good voicing but that's it, I think.

I liked him, he is a very fun character amazing banter with Esteban and Shepard "Lola", "Loco". And as a squad mate he's very useful best tank in the game XD

I don't like Vega when he's alone, but I like him when he's messing with other people. His banter with Steve and Garrus were highlights.

I'm surprised I, who was all excited about him, thought he was just all right while a bunch of people who dispised the very idea of him in Mass Effect 3 loved him and made him and Shep BFFs.

I think he needs a mission that allows him to shine more, since he never got a chance to get a Loyalty mission, nor was ever important to the plot.

I actually enjoyed him. I thought I wouldn't because it was FPJ, but the character was actually pretty enjoyable. The sniping with Garrus was pretty hilarious.

It was a well made character, and the va was great. I must say he was the one that kept the ship lively. Whether having the playful banter with garrus or Cortez, to getting ash drunk, memorable moments. Also when your in pergotory at the bar and you have a drink with the other marines.

He seemed the most down to earth out of all the characters.

I really enjoyed the first real chat you have with him, when you "dance".
Since he's a ton of muscles, I thought it was a clever way to interact with him.
Unfortunately, nothing of the sort ever happens again after... I think it's a missed opportunity.

Other than that I suppose his interactions were enjoyable, especially with Cortez. But we don't get to know much about him...

He was surprisingly witty for a walking chunk of muscle.

Yes!! He would've been an awesome LI--constantly making jokes and being entertaining :D I think he would've cheered my FemShep up a lot!!!

James have entered my top five favorite characters for mass effect. Every mission I took him and Garrus, He never died. Even on my insanity run through. Apart from Garrus he was the only interesting squadmate. Everyone else was so dull.Posted Image

His entry into the series was handled with the graceful segue of a sudden sledgehammer to the face. That hurt him for a lot of fans, I think, myself definitely among them.

He grew on me, once I gave him a chance. Not that you have much option early on in the game. I just had to get past the "Who the hell is this guy, and why is my femshep acting like she knows him?" phase.

I started to like him once he stopped calling me "loco".
