Hello.

I wanna make a cutscene where I make the player kill a monster. After this I want the cutscene to end and then the body of the monster lies on the ground with loot.

How do I do this?

I don't want the body to be there during the cutscene, but I know that what happens during the cutscene is only acting and the monster won't actually be killed and leave a body...

You tend to have two choices there - either make the "body" lay in the same position as the cutscene showed them (by using the ambient system with a system state of 19) or actually have a lootable corpse, which will be dead but not in the same position as the cutscene indicated.

You can fake what you want with an invisible placeable named the same as the corpse (you can even use SetName if you like).

I'm new to this, and appolgize for my ignorant advice. But, wouldn't it be possible to have a non-agressive lootable monster present? When the player approaches, the cut-scene would play, and a script would cause the monster to die after the dialogue option (or just the cut-scene's initiation). Hopefully this can be done after the animation without problems? The player could then loot the corpse since it is the same as any other lootable corpse?

Hope this was some help despite my lack of knowledge.

I'm pretty sure that several of the placeables options are corpses of various types. Maybe you just make a placeable corpse spawn triggered off of the playing of the cutscene?
