Yes, but I wouldnt have spent so much time and money to get a expensive Collectors Edition.
I would have waited a few weeks/months till the price dropped.
Would you have bought ME3 if the developers had spoken the truth about every single thing?

I bought the game, although already done (I will not specify). It seems to me that the right to criticize without buying no, now I bought and honestly criticize.

No preorder, no collector, waiting for bargain bin.

Yes i bought it after i heard all these things. I would still buy it today knowing. Its about the fun playing it and i try not to obsess about it. I easily could but there will be plenty more games to come. With plenty more plot holes gaps and broken promises.

Honestly, I don’t know.
I probably would have, but I’d be a lot less pissed off at all the broken promises we were told would be in ME3 and at the craptacular ending. I doubt I would have gotten the collectors edition like I did or even gotten it the day it came out that’s for sure. I’d wait until it was a $20 game before getting it.

If someone is interested in a good game with a very very good Sequel (yes with a capital s), try Arkham Asylum and then Arkham City. The firsti awesome, the seconnd is fuking epic.
It isn't a rpg, but its awesomeness make up for it.
I have both of those and can't get into either of them.
The production values are amazing, I just can't get into the gameplay.

Not with pre-order. Not digital deluxe.
But thing is, I might have bought it in the end, anyway. At least I would have gone into the game with realistic expectations. If I buy an Assassins’ Creed game, for instance, I know it’s not about the characters, or the dialogue, but about climbing up really tall buildings and jumping into piles of hay. I very rarely get disappointed by those games.
I would have started playing it, thinking it’s a good shooter game and it kind of is. I have a friend who isn’t too bothered by this whole thing, and that’s what he says. He doesn’t much care about the story or the role-playing, or the end – he’s just playing it as a shooter. It keeps him from getting very involved in the story but he’s able to enjoy both the game and the multiplayer.
If I had known that was more what the game was like – with auto-dialogue, and increasingly few choices towards the ending, it might have felt like less of a heart-break reaching that point.

I was more disappointed with almost everything about Dragon Age honestly. The fact that almost none of my decisions mattered let me down a lot less than the first ten minutes of DA. just sayin

There isn't simple answer. I very much liked, hell even loved previous two games. I have invested (not wasted) much time and money in them and bacause of that I was interested how this trilogy will end. So yes, I would buy this game...wait for it... on Ebay
But nooo....I ran out of patience and decided to pre-order Collectors Edition. It's my fault and since I'm now wiser I will never make same mistake again.

No I wouldn't have bought it. I was expecting a similar setup ME2 had for the ending on a grander scale which wouldn't have been hard to produce. I don't believe my expectations were high. I wanted the same formula the other Mass Effects had boss fight and all.

I still would have bought the game (collector's edition). Apart from the ending and some annoying plot holes, it is overall a very solid and, apart from the ending, quiet enjoyable game.
Having said that they really, really need to come out and explain why the said the things they did before the game was released compared to how the game actually is. Some of the things they could fix through, hopefully free (not holding my breath though) DLC, but I'm sorry the ending, the ending, the ending.

Would have waited for bargain bin. And then maybe even only if the endings had been changed, and if not, at least I would have known what I was walking into then.

I certainly wouldn't have bought the collectors edition, and I probably wouldn't have bought the normal edition either. I would have still played it, but not paid full price for it - either buying it reduced after release or second hand.

I did not follow the pre-release marketing THAT closely, but close enough to recognize some of the "lies"
A lot of the quotes from OT is making me sad... most likely I wouldnt preorder and wait for ME3 to hit discount shelves.

I preordered the CE from Amazon. And then preordered a SE from Gamestop for the extra goodies.
I did read the leaked script. But I allowed for the benefit of the doubt.
However, if I knew for sure what I know now, I wouldn't have preordered. I would have waited for ME3 to hit the twenty dollar shelves at Wal-Mart, or picked up a used copy at the local mom n' pop game store.

Not a chance. Am I bitterly disappointed that I bought it? That I finished it? No.
But I wouldn't have been in a rush, and I wouldn't have bothered with the CE. If I'd known it was going to be like this, I wouldn't have spent two years avoiding conversations, the internet, magazines, anything that might have spoiled it for me. If I'd known -this- was going to be the way they treated it...
I wouldn't have cared. I wouldn't have bothered.
I think... BioWare might actually have killed video games for me. I'm taking up knitting.
