If it was because of lag then don't complain. Sometimes there is serious lag when players from different continents connect. Perhaps they wanted to communicate. We're you speaking to them? If not then they might have kicked you for that. I wouldn't be mad if I was kicked from a game where everyone was speaking german, spanish, or french. Some people like to communicate during the match. Now if it was solely because you are Spanish then that is messed up...but it might be for other reasons.

In fact i find male french accents pretty attractive, so if i was in a game with 2 anti-french i'd troll them alive.
And if i join a game and ppl say negative things about a new player, i give them piece of my mind.  Krogan charge!

When I used to play on xbox, I got called mexican all the time as an 'insult'. I am not mexican so I paid no mind to it but that just shows how uneducated and rude the young population of 'americans' are. I haven't run into anything like that on PC though, thank god for the mature community (most of the time).

Unfortunately annonymous internet racism happens quite often. The game companys are the only one in the position to take care of that. Its not like a speech in the forums or during a game or game lobby can change the mind of these idiots. They need to be punished by the authority. And thats the game company responsible for their product.

Riot Games are doing quite well with their report function and their tribunal in League of Legends. I do hope Bioware will think of something similar if this problem occurs frequently.

But you have to differentiate. If your internet sucks you will most likely ruin the game for 3 more people. Also if you are trying to join a gold game with a level 1 character and crappy items. Thats a reason to kick someone in my opinion. Bioware could do something to help out in this issue as well. A note on the minimal download/upload speed requirements to host/join a game would be one thing. Latency indicator and maybe a N7 level requirement to join games with Silver/Gold difficulties would be worth thinking about as well.

Till then. Feel free to join my games. I only care about a good team setup for gold. Everything beyond the game itself doesn't matter and shouldn't.

I play on a personal computer, there is no problem with this, all very polite. The only wanted to kick, it when I used soldier BF3 it violated their atmosphere Mass Effect, I think.

I've been kicked a few times, and I can't say that it's because I'm Spanish. I got ripped by some kid on UC3 because I threw a grenade and it killed him, couldn't stop laughing at the verbal abuse I received. You shouldn't let it affect you.

I know I'm not the only one being kicked for non-sense things like that, I hope everyone can play with everyone without that kind of stupid racism and country-hate.

should of bought the PC version....its like the perfect internet...where no one ever talks to eah other most of the time anyways

Most people value their cultures/ethnic group over others which is why it can seem a person outside of your culture/ethnic group hates you. Add in the anonymity of being on the internet and that makes people believe they can say whatever they want. Sadly the first insult people can think of is cultural/ethnical. Don't get me wrong I know pure racism is alive and well but most people you meet in the online gaming community fall within that group of people who feel they have a license to saw whatever they want because of the anonymity of the internet.

You are right, but I was responding more to the "who think you are mexican" part. I know quite a lot of americans and (as with most people) they tend to be nice people. Not generalizing here ^^.

yes most people associate "American" with USA and I say why the F*** not.... even other countries do this, most of my family is in england and they always say "we have american familiy members" alot if not most people refer to USA as america and not even USA so I don't see the problem here. and @escocido sorry I meant to quote the other guy my mistake.
