I support your motion OP, but somehow, someone will turn this thread in a flame war.

It's seriously getting sad around here.

I admire their patience and maturity.

I would have shut this entire place down.

Yep. I especially feel sorry for the BW staff that had no part in the ending (so pretty much most of them). They're getting a lot of undeserved hostility.

I also hope that all this controversy is not affecting the staff too bad. It is starting to get crazy when people are blaming the Dragon Age staff and The Old Republic staff for something that happend in a game they had no part in.

As much as I agree, OP, I don't think this thread will be up very long. Off-topic...

I don't want to blame all the individuals in the company for what the head honchos decided.

A special toast of serrice ice brandy to the QA guys, who probably caught many bugs that probably weren't fixed because of deadlines.

Indeed, I'd line to thank all att BioWare for making three of my favorite games ever. It's been one hell of an adventure. :)

If we're talking mods, I find them kind of scary. But the standing assumption is they're people too, so I would glady chat with them over the metaphorical dessert of their choice and thank them for keeping this place classy. :wizard:

Sometimes I see writers and other staff on here responding to fan questions and I think that's amazing.

Speaking of which any Bioware peeps responding to this: what is your favorite dessert?:)

I agree. I do support the staff that had no control over this ending. Sorry your are getting lumped in with those that did have a hand in it.

I have faith that your extended cut will bridge the gap with most fans once they give it a chance.

That said, ME3 was excellent from the begining to the elevator ride, and while it had problems with small things like face import and larger things like botched romances, it was still a great game and a work to be proud of.

It moved me more than once, and I had a blast on its wild ride!

Thanks Bioware, and keep your chin up!

Bizarre question!

Nothing but support for Bioware, as much as I hate the ending, the rest of the series is pure gold. They've made a fantastic trilogy which I'm sure they are extremely proud of; wouldn't have it any other way.

The story that the writing team came out with is some of the best, most involving story writing I've ever seen. The reaction to the endings is something else they should be proud of - nobody would have reacted this way if they'd created a story that people didn't invest themselves in.

It's not really a great situation for them because the active staffers at the moment are mostly uninvolved with the thing people have issues with, but the 'BioWare' tag on their forum names makes them more-or-less the Executive Producer of the series.

Still, they are all semi-well-adjusted adults and can handle both warranted and unwarranted criticisms, I imagine. Even at the best of times there will be both.

Pie, on the other hand, is not a guaranteed asset. ^_^

Absolutely support the staff. All of them. The fact that some of them say anything AT ALL to us beyond their mod duties deserves respect.

Fact.
