If a little discombobulated at times, the third installment has been great. I shy away from the overused term, epic, but moments in this game truly were that. Epic. Palaven's moon, Tuchanka (both the revealed lost city and the conclusion to that arc), Rannoch confrontation and the outcome of Thessia. All brilliant. Sadly, the ME2 squad has little to no relevance or screen time.

Also: How much pie would a pyjak jack if a pyjak could jack pie?

I dislike the ending, I'll admit that, but I don't blame the majority of Bioware as most of them were just doing as they were told. Its easy to think that everyone that works for Bioware knows everything about how and why the ending was like it was. I just wish more employees watched the ending and said to their bosses "This is terrible, the fans will hate us for this. We need to change it." That said, maybe they did and we just haven't heard about it.

Props to Bioware, hate the end but you gave me one hell of a ride through three games.

We need more of these. You guys deserve some serious kudos - this game was everything I expected of it (up until you know what). Additionally, it was the only game in existence to put a lump in my throat. Multiple times. One is a big deal for me, two is unheard of, but three? This game is a real work of art, and proves that video games can truly invoke difficult emotions.

My hat is off to you, BioWare. Ending debacle or not, this series will stay with me for years to come as one of my absolute favorites. Please keep doing what you do - the game industry needs more of this.

Well they can in fact help the cause by stating their perception on things, unless they are put into a position where dissent = big trouble. Hopefully no one pulled a "either you're with us or against us". I'd challenge Bioware to produce an argument that the number of satisfied players outweigh the number of dissatisfied players. It won't even be close. If they're willing to lose x amount of LOYAL LOYAL fans, well then, that solidifies the thought that the TRUE Bioware is dead.

Just wanted to jump in on all the love for the Bioware staff. Even though this ending fiasco has gotten somewhat outta hand, I just wanted to let ya;; know that I appreciate the hard work that has been put into the ME series. Honestly my fav video game series so far. Im hoping the DLC can leviate my and some fans disappointment because I would love more Mass Effect, if it is done right

Bioware has my biggest congratulations for how well they did with the Mass Effect series. I feel the series is a huge step forward for RPGs in a number of areas (and gaming in general).

That said, to avoid any confusion or selective memory, I must restate that the ending in ME3 was so far below the quality set by the rest of the game (and earlier games in the series) that it's really astonishing... how bad it was.

I really would like to commend BioWare for putting with this in such a professional way, truth is there's been a lot of hate thrown around some justified and some not.

Just letting you guys know that the game even thought it has it's flaws was awesome for the most part, the endings are a broken record by now so let's leave it at that.

Anyway, thanks for the awesome trilogy.

I don't think they calculated the mess the ending would create so even those that gave us this ending deserve commendation.

Developers never try to make bad games, they always try to make good games that would sell, the ending debacle shows a disconnect with the fan base and what the fans wanted that's all...

on the other hand all the post endings comments have done little more than infuriate the fan base, honestly why not tell us straight up that you thought we would like this ending, that you expected this to work, why not tell us you choose to keep most things open to interpretation, why not pull a weekes and answer honestly to our reactions from the get go, instead of saying 75 perfect scores as a way to invalidate the feelings of the fan base...
