I entirely agree. We must direct our ire exclusively at those responsible.

Except Jennifer Hepler, she can go where ever she wants, the exit would be nice.

I'm not blaming everyone at Bioware for how the game turned out. There are a huge bunch of talented people there that have brought us some amazing games over the years.
Hopefully Bioware can learn from the feeedback and use it to help build even better games in the future.

Is the end a bit of a letdown? Yes.
Is all this intense resentment justified? No. In fact, it is really weird. There are more significant things to resent than a disappointing ending to an otherwise great franchise, such as the fact Rob Schneider is still working as an actor, or that the sinking of the Titanic is the wrong centenary to celebrate in 2012.

I'm sorry that you have been put in such a difficult situation at the moment.
Hope you aren't getting too stressed out by us fans, hope you are all ok
Peace
Pls comment if you are going to show some positive love for the Biostaff whose hands it is out of
(and maybe some love for the people who are gonna give us a new ending too eh?)
Well said
It is sad that the actions of the few have affected the many. When I have a go a Bioware I am talking to the few not the many.

I'll throw my hat in here. Anyone who has ever worked a real job in their life knows that the top makes the decisions and the grunts have to pay for it. If a grunt says that the decision is a bad one, he gets blackballed or just outright canned. I know because I've been there myself several times.
Yep! Been there done that!
I always feel sorry for the poor 'grunts' that have to shovel for the 'few ' that just dont care as long as the $$$ flow!

I, personally, think EA forced restrictions on BW that BW was not used to having.

When every other sentence out of their mouths is professing EA's innoncence then what does it matter?
The product is junk, their fan loyalty will not bypass this much of a letdown.
Simply put your previous and current purchase went into funding an escalating purchse model. The only aspect of this game Bioware made sure to get right is Microtransaction. Every other aspect suffered. So why would anyone buy Bioware again considering that you are paying to fund more costly game models. ones aimed at giving you advantage for extra real money.
ME3 did not have more than 1 hub, side missions that were anything but Multiplayer missions on a 10ft by 10ft escalation map. Space or Ground exploration gone, journal is a joke.
Rannoch was good, ending made it useless.
Genophage cure or not was good, ending made it useless.
Assuming you can look past the fact that this game is maybe 25% of ME1 and only about 50% of ME2, then what is the point. The flow chart of options did not get bigger, it just reads now, "Casey and Macs ending extravaganza" and if you don't like it, we will have our attack dog review sites insult you for seeing through our charade.

This.
I work in customer service for a major cable company here in Germany and some of marketing's and management's decisions are just asinine...and guess who has to pick up the debris? Grmpf...
Again, respect to everyone who was responsible for the rest of the game. I salute you. You have created a work every bit as significant as trilogies like Star Wars. Too bad the ending overshadows it all.

Everything about the game was better than ME2 all the way up until.......the last 10 minutes. What happened? I'm genuinely concerned for your company. What is going on?
I just think you guys deserve so much better. The ending to the game completely disrespects all the hard work you put into making the previous 99%, which was just sublime. We want the ending rewritten because the people at Bioware who poured their heart and soul into this project deserve so much better.
You deserve the freedom to make the game you wanted to make in the first place. I believe you were deprived of that freedom. I personally will not rest until you get that freedom back.
Don't know what else I can say. I love Mass Effect.

I wish EA had never gotten their hands on them and maybe we would have seen much better from the ending. But because of EA and its rush scheme Bioware will be losing money that they would not have otherwise.

Well most people assume it had to do with EA b/c EA has a 20 yr track record of doing stuff like thisReggarBlane wrote...

As far as 'out of their control' what I mean is that there are 1 or 2 people who wrote that trash ending and then 100 people who have to carry it out and have little to no say about it. In the Western system you just don't get ahead by voicing your concerns. I've raised ethical concerns at 2 MAJOR US employers and was canned at each one
