My Top Ten Wish List for DA 2 (in no particular order)
==========================================

1) A least one more controllable party member at all times.

2) Playable epilogues.

3) Leliana and Morrigan back. Morrigan's child factors into the story. Maybe Leliana is even pregnant with the PC's child at this point too, but then she finds out that the PC also has a child with Morrigan! Uh oh...

4) Some sort of home/base for the player and companions, that is not just the same camp site all the time.

5) Pictures/illustrations to go with the codex entries (make them a bit more interesting I think).

6) Able to continue the story with same main character you created in DA 1, like in Mass Effect.

7) I'd like the companions to initate the conversation with me a little bit more, instead of myself always going up to them. And maybe my comrades could give me gifts for a change. But maybe that's just me...

8) Summonable/ownable pet dragon! Maybe just a baby one. Kind of like the mabari pet, but could breathe fire.

9) An option to go into 1st-person camera mode. Someone made a mod for GTA4 which allowed the player to see the entire world through Nikos eyes (instead of the default 3rd person view), and it really changed the feeling of the entire game for me, and took my immersion to a whole other level. Just walking around New York in 1st Person view is amazing. I think it would be great in DA as well. Combat could be very visceral.

10) Even more dialogue choices/paths... I love having options.

Any thoughts?

Put your wish lists here too if you like... doesn't have to be ten, just however many you can think of.

- Same main PC

- If you killed someone in DAO then they are dead, if they are alive at the end, the continue into the next game

- If you were in a relationship with someone...they should remember....would suck to have to start over again.

Other then that...I am just excited to see what Bioware comes up with for a large expansion, or sequal...

True, but I don't think that it will be another blight. It is either going to have something to do with the blasted kid, as well as the fact that the darkspawn are getting smarter and are organizing themselves without the aid of an archdemon (so the epilogue says), add in a possible quenari invasion...I think there will be alot of content to work with without another blight.

2. Playable DLCs (this ones buggy to much still not able to play)

3. Not only dark chooses a TOTAL DARK CAMPIGN like after getting tainted by blood answer the archdemons call and control the armies of blight against Orlains or rest of the map.

4. MOAAR armor/weapon sets

5. More spells and talents.

6. More evil looking blood thursty kills.

7. Lots more free area to move.(Like while moving into places notice some caves on map and able to move those caves and dungeons.)

8. Enchament on armors too

9. Camp storage or chest somethink so we can keep our stuff if we dont want to sell and carry with us.

10. MAKE IT FREE FOR DRAGON AGE : ORIGINS OWNERS :P (this one is the best i guess:P)

This has been my pet peeve with Bioware RPGs since KotOR:

Either allow all recruited party members to accompany you or find something reasonable for them to do while your main group is off saving the world.

It doesn't make any sense to drag them along and then force them to sit at camp all day long because they don't fit your artificially small group due to class composition.

Ahem!

Ok, so

1) Enchatment.

2) Enchatment...

3) ENCHATMENT!

4) Enchantment, enchantment, enchaantment!!!

Ok, more seriously :

1) new location

2) a new period of time, some 50 years after the first one, with a new protagonist, NOT a grey warden

3) Many more enemies to fight. The darkspawn are not the main threat

4) Better looking Armors

5) Dagna (?) a party member if you made her go to the circle tower in DAO

6) No DLCs, only expansions, please?

7) More places like the Alienage's Orphanage thingy.

8) Great story

9) Shale (please?)

10) New specializations and playable races (for specialization, I was thinking something like an exorcist for mages, Pirate for Rouges or whatever for warriors, for races : Qunari,... err... human commoner, elven warlord or something :P )

Wishes that can't be included in the list :

- A hurlock companion

- I WANT to be part of... The Crimson Oar! Harr!

I love some of your top 10

My wish lish

1:More *dirty* looking mage robe and more option for armor/weapon in general . i felt there's not much choice for weapon in this game.No double Axe ,Scimitar or pike either for tank.Add them by sake god .. Also add hooded cloak . No need for them to be magical .. Just for appearance really.

2:Like you said . Character that start conversation with you . Kinda like Neverwinter Knight.Nathyrra and Deekin etc would initiate a lot of conversation.

3:Conversation between all of your groups .. Not just 2 at the same time.

4:More choice when creating your avatar.Heigh/Weight/Musculation etc

5:Quest for each specialization class.Basicly there's only  spesialization quest for rogue in DA

6:More impact on the game based of your choice.I want to be Evil.

7:Can continue the story of your character. So much time put into him i don't want him to be simply erased for future playthrough.I don't want to hear some lame excuse like - He left adventuring never to be seen again .. That kind of crap.

8:Morrigan and other companion nvolved in some way into the next.If you start a game with one of your actual character and you romanced leliana . .Than she could be part of your groups.

9:That my companion actually care for my character..I'm tired to play the therapist of the group. My character got a huge burden on his shoulder and need some compasion.Character should care much in the end about the PC.
For instance if a NPOC tell your PC that he raped your mom and pooped on his face..Your friend should be pissed and your love interest should almost attack  the NPC.Not just stand there and say nothing.

10:Your character can have approbation also .. If a companion annoy you during a conversation .. YOUR approbation could drop (Choosing how much point you want to raise or drop)

11:LOL)

Less loading time .. BIgger ZONE

12: Charisma/Age and stuff like this ..If you're a dwarf you can't be handsome and a mage can't really be Ugly .. Kinda like NWN .. When you had a High charisma in NWN .. NOC would react to it..Like WOOOOOOOOOOWWW your face enlighten me !! Are you an Angel?Or

Hmm are you sick?

13:Romance ..Do something about the sex scene. Also if i haven't kissed Any character .. No need to make Leliana Jealous ..

1. Same group ( or a new character should the sacrificial option be used )

2. Able to continue/build upon existing relationships.

3. Other tales and adventures not directly related to the blight ( mopping up darkspawn is fine though, but not a focal point)

4. new locations in Feralden or outside of it

5. Besides camp, a " base of operations" opening up more maintenance/management options not doable in camp

6. Storage drop off...IE a trunk or something in camp, or above stated base.

7. Human theology that does NOT tie in to the maker/Andrasti side of things

8. More Character creation options ( as stated before) if you carry over a warden, ability to " touch up"

9. more options in mage wear...My mind would have loved to see the robe/cloak solid colour look ( I'm quite fond of the Rastilin look hehe )

I REALLY don't have 10....

but you know what WOULD be nice? A tie into Jade Empire >.> the globe is round sooooooo....perhaps the great grandfather of black whirlwind ?

yeah no, IF I had him, and got Oghren to come....it would just be disastrous....

very wishful thinking on that last one with no expectations of such thing ever, but it would be fun * lol

1. Same main character. (This is the only thing I truly care about I absolutely hate having a different pc every game in a series.) Although you could give people an option to make a new character for those who want one and than have a little mini origin for that and have it tie in to the main storyline with a returning main character.
2. Takes place in a different country
3. No tiny dlcs but real full expansions packs instead.
4. More Sandal
5. Longer game
6. More armor models
7. Find out what happens to Morrigan.
8. More Specialisations
9. Possibly a new class.
10. More mages in party.

- I'd like to continue the story of my PC in Dragon Age. He went travelling with Leliana. Maybe it's time to find Morrigan now...

- Following Morrigan through Thedas. Maybe from Orlesia to Minrathous. Maybe Morrigan wants to discover how the Tevinter Mages got to the Golden City and do something with the knowledge.

- More flat areas. I can't believe Ferelden doesn't have an acre of flat land. :P

- More meaningful quests for specializations. More powerful specializations.

- More weapon types, animations, skills, enemies, finishing moves, epic side quests, exploration, puzzles, mysterious clues etc. You made a great game. Now make it better!

- More awesome bosses, tactical combat, epic story, movie-like cutscenes, interesting companions etc. Everything that made Dragon Age good.

- Continue the mix of half freedom, half story. Not many games offer such a mix.

- I'd like to control more characters in battle at a time...5 or 6 would be great but as long as it's at least 4 I won't be too disheartened.

- Make it possible so that we can have a party full of all of the same class. Dragon Age really needs another rogue and another mage companion.

I) Bigger cities. Orzammar felt tiny, because you could see all sorts of areas you couldn't access around this huge cavern.

II) More mage robes, and possibly some armor designed for an arcane warrior. Warriors got all the attention this time around and my blood mage/spirit healer was wearing the same equipment for practically the entire game.

III) Origin-specific quests throughout the game.

IV) class and/or specialization-specific quests throughout the game. This was touched on with the Slim Couldry questlines for example based on whether you have the stealing skill, which is a bit of a rogue thing, but it could be expanded on so very greatly.

V) More mage cowls. Honestly, my mage looked like he was wearing a condom most of the time and I disliked it. Either offer more headgear options for a mage (magical helmets?) or give us the option to hide headgear so we can see the haircut we spent an hour picking at the beginning of the game.

VI) Decent armor you have to hunt for. One of the most sought-after sets in DA:O is the ancient elven armor, and it's actually not all that good. If I have to visit every area in the game to get the armor set, it should be worth using at the point I complete it (ancient elven, for example, won't usually be 'complete' as a set until late game, but it's clearly early-game armor).

VII) 'Pick lock' spell. Or lockpicking/trap disarming made into a skill instead of a talent. My rogue characters consistently had more experience and money earlier in the game than my warriors or mages, and having to take control of a rogue party member to unlock chests or disarm traps was a pain. Perhaps have the main character able to open chests/disarm traps and such as long as someone in the party at the time has some skill in such things?

VIII) Randomly generated repeatable quests or encounters of some sort. Fable did a decent job of this with the 'bounty' and 'slave rescue' quests, and some sort of similar thing would be ideal. Dragon Age has random encounters which are good, but they seem to just stop happening as the game goes on whereas it seems like you should be running into the darkspawn more as the game goes on, not less. Not only would this add to replayability, but it would make gold a bit easier to get which would be great considering how many of the cool items in the game are sold in shops at high prices.

IX) Rune slots in bows, poisonable arrows - something to bring archery more in line with the other weapon tiers and maybe make it a bit more interactive. I enjoyed my archer but some things (like poisoned arrows, especially) seemed like they would have added a lot more to it. If not one of the two things I mention here, some sort of 'fletching' talent (along the lines of herbalism or trap-making) which allowed you to create special arrows of your own would help a lot, since right now magical or otherwise special arrows are too expensive to use a lot.

X) License a publishing house to create a whole series of Ferelden-set novels and so forth, have a small team dedicated to making sure these are all up to Bioware's quality standards and work within the lore so they can be considered canon. Something like what Del Rey did with the Star Wars books (as opposed to what was done with the Star Trek books). This would help create a huge and self-sustaining universe for fans to embrace, and would add significantly to the longevity of the franchise (as well as Bioware's coffers).

1. Quanari playable race.

2. Multiplayer! Play campaigns coop, arena fighting parties vs parties.

3. New PC, but game should remember the action you did in DAO with game data.

4. Take place 20-30 years after DAO.

5. Group Conversations.

6. 4 characters parties.

7. More enchantments. On armors etc.

8. More specializations.

9. Level cap 30

10. Bigger World.

I trust Bioware to get us great new adventures. All I really care for is Loghain in my party back, as he is right now in the end.

Well, I just love him...sigh....Plus he's really a great tank , no whining and he needs more time for redemption .(though he already made a good start)

So whenever, whatever, wherever but with Loghain!

1. more armor and weapon models (specifically DECENT MAGE OUTFITS

2. a new set of "origin" stories that relate to the outcome of the first game

3. more specializations/expanded specializations

4. party camp that changes to reflect where you are in the world (snowy camp when in the mountains that sort of thing).

5. more specific tooltips/combat info. (it's nice to know just how much damage an ability will do when considering it when leveling up)

6. more RP options to reflect how you character feels based on origin/race/other events. (it felt hard at times to portray how a character might be jaded or hurting still from the events of the origin story)

7. more craft-able items, would be so nice to be able to make your own enchanted arrows and things.

8. more enchant-able items, ranged weapons and armor should able to be enchanted as is repeatedly mentioned in the lore.

9. either better ways to get money or better ways to reduce merchant prices (it feels like you can only purchase one or two of the really powerful items from the various merchants by the end of the game)

10. more open areas, the game does a good job of portraying a sense of depth and openness however many areas still feel like closed off paths through a large area that's arbitrarily inacessable.

Lets see..
  • Definitely want to play my main character again, even have some of the same companions and continued romance plot.
  • Continuation of the story ended in DAO 1 - maybe 15-25 years later.
  • More items to enchant (ie. bows/armor/accessories).
  • More versatile/larger and interactive camp. Perhaps even make the Warden's Keep (if you have it) a "livable" area.
  • Maybe all those gifts you pick up and give out end up as visible art/accessories in said Warden's Keep/camp area.
  • Definitely be cool if the party members were to seek out the main character more on opinions, advice and even romance plot.
  • More specializations - expanded upon or even mingled/advanced/changed with existing specializations depending on how/who you ended the game with.
  • More armor sets, maybe customizable within reason.
  • In-game character customization as far as tattoo, hair style, make-up, etc.
  • More open areas to explore and lesser/greater chain quests to be found. Respawnable enemies.

[*]Overall though, I'm fully looking forward to what Bioware is gonna come out with next. I got faith in 'em to keep me interested and addicted!

(11. I'd so go for an evil, alternate playable plot too in which the hero becomes corrupted and evil, drawn in by the darkspawn - maybe becomes the next Archdemon! woot!)

1. Same PC as the one used in DA:O

2. More development of existing NPCs (Morrigan, Alistair, Shale, etc.)

3. Longer interaction/dialogue/banter between PC and party NPCs.

4. Clear representation of the consequences of the PC's actions in DA:O

5. More variety in terms of gear (armor and weapons, particularly for magi)

6. Better animation for PCs/Playable NPCs

7. More skills or specializations (I'm fine w/ the 3 class set)

8. Larger, perhaps more 'dynamic' world (I'm still hoping for something like a 'stronghold' option or even something akin to a 'strategic' element, in terms of what takes place in a region)

9. Better atmosphere, in terms of music/score-use and environment (e.g., 'livelier' cities. No offense, but Denerim felt a bit 'flat'. Compare w/ the main city in 'The Witcher', as well as other locations in that game)

10. More RP choices/options overall (e.g., I really would've liked an option to try and kill Loghain directly w/out the Landsmeet...etc.)
