I would like more money to start with and better treasure on bodies and in chests. After a tough battle picking the lock on a chest to find a deep mushroom in it - why bother? I hate being made to be a pauper in rpgs, not just this one but most. What is the reason for it?

You can find everything there is and make multiple trips back to sell it but you still won't be able to buy everything you want. I never understood the reasoning behind this.

You can start off as a human noble living in a castle - there's no money in a chest? So not only do you lose your family you lose all of your money too.

Then you pick up companions and none of them have any money so you end up supporting them too. Why?

I think out of all the games I have played (there are many) Diablo was the best for finding treasure and making money. When you hit the end of the cave and the chest opened up it was like Christmas. lol I didn't mind running back and forth for all of it.

So please consider adding more money and treasure to the game.

1)  Better THIEVERY.
That was one thing that Oblivion had right.  Especially when someone modded it to have a "range" effect, so that if "police" weren't in area then you wouldn't get caught; also, people pc robbed from could call for help from the "police"; if you were caught, you would end up in jail, and had the possibility of loosing everything you had in your inventory, including your weapons.
Assassin's Creed 2 thievery, worked well as well, where the guards would chase you and you would have to go hide, and the guards were smart enough to search for you.

Keeping the same main character as DA:O is really important i think

I'd also like a house, a horse, a ship, and be able to two time my party members - and a pet raven

Is there any leeway for technical improvements since consoles are still as limited as ever?

think most has been said already. But one thing that I absolutely hated about Dragon Age were the Mage hats... Chose to not use them on any of my characters due to them looking so ridiculous.

Oh, and bring back morrigan, and let us have the option of killing her.

1. More Armor & weapon variety, i.e unique items look unique.

2. More variety of sets with set bonuses. Especially for Duel wielders.

3. Ability to control companions in camp.

4. Better or more complex Tactics options/choices for better Automation of companions.

5. Factions related companions/enemies with links to PC's Morality/actions/decisions. More like Wynne.

6. More companions to choose from. I.e Limit the number of companions you may have but have more companions to pick from than the limit & not just in combat.

7. Ability for companions to say no to joining you based on character trait, skill & attributes as well as morality & reputation based on PC's actions.

8. The world to be more expansive like sandbox style within given locations.

9. The ability to travel across multiple countries although this might be asking too much.

10. Better management of leveling up interms of distribution of attributes, skills & talents for PC & Companions technically.

I & II. Option to import Warden; Companion/World interactions preserved
First of all I don't think the sequel is going to be 40 years later or something that just doesn't make much sense to me the only way I see them skipping way ahead is to another Blight which could be 100s of years away(but if it is I guess this wish is kind of pointless). I think it will be realitivly the same time period different location my guess would be the Anderfels and Tevintar. Ok onto importing your Warden though when you import him/her allow us to adjust his/her looks not redesign, but maybe change hairstyles or color of hair, add facial hair, tattoo, scars or some age complextion something to show he/she has aged or changed since Origins. I'm not asking either for every choice I made to be carried over hell even companions that I may have killed or not recruited interacting with me in a sequel would not bother me at all. Though I would like the major choices and love intrests to carry over results of Paragon of Her Kind, Nature of the Beast, Urn of Sacred Ashes, Broken Circle and the outcome of the Landsmeet, and the Dark Promise or whomever made the final blow. Now with companions I would really be upset if I met them in DA:2, and I got vibes they are reacting to like they just met me maybe in opening dialogue have a dialogue choice that would set the tone of how you viewed them in Origins, and they would react accordingly for example(i'm a novice writer on a good day, so don't be too harsh on my short dialogue here just trying ton convey my idea/point);

Leliana: Hey [King Alistair or Queen Anora] said you were summoned here for important business, so I thought I'd see if you needed some help or company.
Warden's response could be something like this;
A) Of course I'll never turn down help from a friend.
B) How could I say no to someone as lovely as you.(Triggers Romance second chance to Romance!)
C) Oh the last thing I need is you and your crazy visions and allegory.
D) Sure I guess you could be useful cooking or something.
Later on through the conversation you could maybe hardened her or not for example;
Leliana: I'd like to thank you again for helping me find myself on our last adventure together. I would still be lost in the world if it was not for you do you remember what you told me?
A) That it is ok to enjoy the thrill of adventure, and that you should not run or hide from your past, also that your skills aren't suited for the Chantry life either.
B) Yes I told you to never give up on your faith, and that you will always be a good person, and the Maker will always be with you.

I would expect different dialogue if Leliana was your LI especially a different welcoming. Though all this could be avoided if they imported your companions code for code from Origins which is a lot to ask, and I would not expect it, but I would like a chance to mold them to fit their Origins relationship with my Warden if I did meet my former companions instead of seeing them and being like "yo i remember you, sup lets go save the world again",  and having to basically rebuild the relationship from scratch.

III, IV and VAdjust Stats, Gear, and how to obtain Gear.
I would suggest giving Constitution and Willpower a buff have those stats decrease fatigue of wearing armor/weapons/sustained abilites by [insert formula here]. Something like 2 Con/Will is 1% less fatigue on top of the stats it already gives you. Just an idea probably not the best or the worst, but those stats need some juice pumped into them. Dex is in my opinion too powerful maybe tone down the defense scaling with it or change how defense works.

Gear on this game is pretty boring. Most of the codex gear has odd stats and set bonuses I think those pieces should be a more powerful or at least useful give them niches or something most are just like I read the codex okay thats cool then I see Havard's Aegis and I'm like wow this is just like Alistair's shield he has now, but with 1 more armor and 4% spell resistance -.-. I struggle to find all my companions decent gear most finish the game with only one good ring and subpar armor. Though this could be a biproduct of how all the best gear is obtained from vendors. Which really really really bugs the crap out of me. I could understand a few of the best pieces of gear being from vendors, but the best bow, staff, dagger, axe, 2h, belt, robes, light armor chest piece, heavy armor chest piece, ring and neck are all from vendors. I could understand spec related items (Knight Commander's Plate) being vendor only and a decent chunk of gold, but the top line gear IMO should be obtained from quests or the dungeons you have cleared, or make them choice rewards. For example you find some materials in an old Thaig, and you take it to Wade or Drydan type, and they ask you what you want option A, B or C made from it. Was my favorite part of Awakening the weapon/armor quests to find him materials, and I love how we got to customize Vigilance and the stats really made me feel like that was MY weapon. To sum it up basically more gear with more skins and looks along with useful stats, and either less best in slot items from vendors and more from dungeons/quests, or make quest or dungeon/codex(unique) items comparable to the vendor goodies. Along with more Wade/Vigilance type weapon/armor quests. Also mage hats and robes look pretty stupid they need to be re-done, or add some cloaks or some slick one color hooded robes.

VI & VII. Gifts and Dialogue.
In Origins I felt gifts were pretty spammy and not very rare. I would prefer more rarity on gifts, and make them more plot item gifts or forced dialogue gifts with chances to increase approval by 20+ instead of something like +5 from a silver braclet you dug out of dragon poo. I know Zevran, Morrigan and Alistair give you romance gifts, but how cool would it be if Sten gave you a medallion from his home land to symbolize his respect and admiration for the Warden, or Oghren buying/offering you a drink. More gifts for the Warden! As for the Dialogue system I hope they stay more towards Origins, but I did like some of Awakening's system a proper mix of both would be ideal.

VIII. Camp; Relationships between Companions.
My single most favorite dialogue was when Alistair asked you to gossip. I'm half way ashamed to admit it, but that really made me feel a part of the DA world I was having a conversation with some pixels about other pixels, and he offered his opinions on them. I would love so much more of that, and banter within camp; celebrations or arguments were you can play peacekeeper or take sides or just stay silent. I would love to see Morrigan and Leliana get ready to come to blows in camp over the Warden and you have to step in and break it up. Companions romancing each other would be cool. Would be funny to see Alistair asking you for wooing advice when he makes his moves on Leliana.

VIIII. Grey Warden-ness.
How about a talent or skill line for Grey Wardens? Here is something I thought of just now.

In peace, vigilance(lvl 12): The Grey Warden can sense darkspawn(they show up on mini map, can see stealthed Genlocks/Shrieks)
In war, victory(lvl 14): The Grey Warden restores stamina each time he/she slays a darkspawn.
In death, sacrifice(lvl 16) The Grey Warden has became attuned to death and sacrifice granting a bonus to all attributes.

More information on the order it's self see some other Warden's the only two viewpoints I have of Warden's is are Alistair's and Duncan/Riorden's which contradict each other. What do the majority of the Warden's think? More of a Duncan anything to win stop the Blight at whatever costs, or an Alistair point of view where blood magic is a no-no, and the order has a standard or morale code for recruits and tactics.

Can't really think of another. Wow I think this is the longest post I have ever posted on any forum lol.

Both of these ideas are great.  Fewer gifts with more gift cutscenes would really make the gift-giving personal.  The ones that DO have cutscenes are so great and give insight into the characters, the ones where you just get an "Ooh for me!?" seem needless and basically just stat grindy.

I liked how in NWN the gift item you received from the companion increased its stats or value as your influence with them rose.  They could do something similar so that they gift items stayed useful through endgame.  For example, if you continue to romance Zevran, his Antivan boots and gloves will continue to improve stats so that he'll be wearing them to fight the Archdemon at the end (which would make sense if he was in love with you).

I also think of how in BG2, one of your companions would start wooing another one (the bard and the elf mage, iirc) and if you were in a romance with the elf mage you could end up dueling over her, or forcing HER to choose.  Making some of the party banter into actual in-camp cutscenes where you have to take sides would have been great.  Some of the characters in BG2 just would not get along at all and would force you to choose between them or would fight amongst themselves.  I realize this would require more characters, which is harder in a game this complex, but a few more either/or situations, like Loghain/Alistair, would have made your playthroughs more unique and your choices more interesting.
