 So I'm half way through my second playthrough and I've been using the Revenant, and so far i've upgraded it to VII but its since disappeared of my weapons upgrades list on the Normandy so the VIII upgrade isnt visible, and thus I can't get it! 

Anyone got an ideas?

Have you gotten back to the Citadel when Cerberus tries to take over?

You might have to pick it up again, to keep upgrading.

Yeah I figured that. that's a pain. Do you think its worth going back to get it, Are the higher levels worth it?

I'm not sure.

I don't know how much of a benefit there is to upgrading weapons to X. I'd need to google to see if there has been any testing on this.

So the question is, how much of a bonus is there for Revvy in particular? I didn't see it tested in that thread yet.

Im guessing that you were/are on your second play threw?
If I understand correctly VII is the highest you can go on the second play threw, but if you go for a third all VII weapons get upgraded to X.

I could be wrong.

if you like the revenant then yes the higher levels are worth it slightly less weight and slightly higher damage plus more ammo

I'm afraid I think you might indeed be wrong mate, as i've managed to upgrade my Wraith to IX and (unbeknownst to me) my Mattock to IX as well!

u can only upgrade it to 7. Once you pick up the weapon again it will bump itself to 10.

On my second play through and I am able to upgrade my weapons to X. It just stops you on your first play through, which is sort of lame. I thought that not having enough credits would take it off the list as well.

You can get weapons up to X on you second playthrough you just need to find the weapon again.

If I missed the Rev in C-Sec during the Cerberus coup on my second playthrough, can I get it later (while still on my second playthrough?) I dont think Kassa sells it anymore...

You need to pick it up to get it to X. Don't think a vendor sells it and I have never seen it available elsewhere post Coup attempt.
