The ending left me so empty that I have been unable to replay the game. Instead; I have been enjoying the multiplayer.

Although I'm thinking of replaying nevertheless.

For me, knowing that the conclusion the dialogue throughout the game/series hints at doesn't come, greatly effects my enjoyment of the rest of the game. I can't enjoy scenes where my squadmates are pledging loyalty, or talking about post-war life, or my LI is talking about settling down, or the politics, etc, when there is no chance of any of it every happening.

The only way to not be effected by that would be to 'detach' myself from the story and characters, but then what would be the point of playing it?

Yes but we all know what the destination is now. And in knowing that, we can never really enjoy the journey as much as we once did.

No doubt.

"During this rafting excursion, the scenery is beautiful.  The rapids are thrilling.  The companionship with your friends/family is heartwarming.

In about 1000 yards, the waterfall suddenly appear.  Its force will pull you along the current.  The rushing waters will flood your motor; your oars will snap in the strong whitecaps.  You will pitch over the waterfall, and die.

But isn't the scenery right now beautiful?"

Sorry.  Me no second playthrough.

I enjoyed playing through knowing the ending moreso than the first time. Theres actually quite a bit of foreshadowing I didn't pick up on.

Once I'd got the "breath" scene ending, subsequent playthrough's involved stopping at Cerberus HQ.

I do enjoy the journey though.

I had to to get the Insanity achievement. Can't stomach the multiplayer long enough. Tried a third playthrough and got sick of running around the Citadel trying to get the eavesdrop quests.

I'm on my 4th insanity run.

It's fine since I've completely finished the ending in my head well beyond what's on the screen and my Femshep and Garrus are heading off to parts unknown with their lil adopted Shepard-Vakarian.

Since even with the DLC coming I have little faith that BW will provide a decent resoltion so I have my own.

But hey, Bioware, prove me wrong.

Please.

I replayed the whole trilogy right after biting ME3 with the same character just to see her in action again, to meet Liara, to enjoy abusing certain people here and there, to feel the life again, you know, like nothing’s happened to this universe. I didn’t even bother doing some things differently, no point anyway, just made some screenshots, laughed and cried at all the stuff I laughed and cried before, realized how much I love my Shepard and how fun and retarded the combat system of the series actually is… Oh boy, need to do it again.

This. Haven't been playing the ending again though. I'm setting up all my playthroughs right before it so that I won't be wasting time when the EC gets here.

It took me one month to be able to start my second playthrough. And fortunately I was able to very much enjoy 99 percent of the game. The only thing that really pissed me off was the Rachni mission that looked and felt exactly the same way even though I killed the queen. That was really cheap.
But other than that I enjoyed it. Since I played a Renegade who did not trust synthetics throughout the whole series it actually removed one of my problems with the ending. Since I killed the Geth myself I could just kill the Reapers without any aditional sacrifice.

I enjoyed it okay for the most part, but even starting the Earth mission was a struggle.

The saddest part of the ending was that after dealing with TIM, I didn't want to listen to the God Child bullcrap again, so I just tabbed out and did other stuff until it was done. I only had to tab back in one time in order to "finish" the game. Talk about player agency. <_<

I tend to stop my playthroughs, now, around the 'goodbyes' on Earth. As that's the last place the story logically followed from its previous parts. It's also the last part of the game that is enjoyable (to me). It's also the last bit of new content for each of the squadmates. A good place to stop, then you can try imagining a better ending. Or, at least, not have to suffer the one we got.

I've been through two playthroughs so far, and I still find Mass Effect 3 to be a good game, regardless of any flaws it has because I love the series regardless.

I had to play it through again, to see how radically different my "everybody dies" playthrough would be from my "everybody lives" playthrough.

Wah-waaah. 'Nuff said.

I have played the game numerous times. I just prefer to imagine my own ending and forget the one that was given.

The endings have not stopped me from enjoying the rest of the game on several other playthroughs. The rest of the game is too good (imo) for it to be totally destroyed by the final few minutes.

I am only able to replay the game if I imagine that the game ends after Anderson dies and ignore everything after that. It is as if the dreams Shepard had before now became a nightmare.

This is where my game ends too. Cannot get the Catalyst to make any kind of sense. But the death alongside Anderson is lovely.

The ending aside, I have completed multiple playthrus. I enjoy the interaction with the various characters, eventhough the paragon choices from ME1 - 2 feel completely tacked on in ME 3.

I've started a second play-through to try and do the romance thing. I failed the first time around and then failed again. I stopped at Thessia and didn't pick it up again.

I'm looking forward to doing another play-through once the "Extended Cut" arrives, if it'll be worth it.

For every ME game I did 3 playthroughs, one on normal, hardcore, and then insanity. I did the same for ME3, and I will just ignore the ending until this so called "clarification" comes out...
