The truth right here.

Also here is some info from Aaron Greenberg.\\
Mass Effect 3 was #1 title in March, 943K units on Xbox 360, outsold PS3 version 4:1. #NPD

Apparently not.

ME3 had 900k first day sales and monthly sales of 1.3 million. Do the math.

Tazz, here is the thread you missed from 20 hours ago with the same link:

http://social.biowar.../index/11341150

A lot more analysis too. Not just, "Hey, ME3 was #1 for March so it's GOTY."

I find it quite amusing you quote NPD to back up your statement when they use the same technique as VGC to gather their data. Sample of retailers scaled up for approximation. Then again I am not that surprised just like in every single thread thats positive regarding the game you, sly, l00p (though will give l00p credit he never took part that one time) and kbct always pop up trying to dismiss any positive facts or data. Do not mistake my deciding to leave that thread is any indication that you somehow are correct in your replies within it. I simply got tired of bickering with you in there. Now your here trying the same tactics against another positive thread and another person.

Actually it was an article someone else did the donkey work Posted Image

VGC uses a forumla to extrapolote sales it's normally not that far off. But it looks like ME3's sales dropped off so sharply that the formula no longer worked hence the wide gap between NDP and VGC.

Ask anyone and they will tell you ,you only use VGC data when NDP data is not available.

Positive or negative is all relative based on expectations of the developer/publisher.  Congratulations you sold a million copies.  So did Enter the Matrix.    It was incredibly hyped sold in a part of the year that has little to no competition.  Bravo.  Would the sales be just as great if we knew about the endings beforehand?  I doubt it.  Let's see how April fares.

It's the same old routine with some of you, March sales were good, April sales if turn out to be good you will respond with "lets see what happens in May", failing that the next month and so on. It's grasping at straws.

Thats a massive assumption based on no actual facts. NPD states 1.3 million (estimated) for North America during March which excludes all other regions and all digital sales as is an estimation much like VGC. They also stated it sold almost triple the amount ME2 sold during it's first month. It's their statement from the source that was quoted in the link provided, you can't cherry pick what you accept or do not, your either accept it all or none at all. Trustworthy enough for you or not.

Now again I don't plan to hang around and bicker with the trio (you, sly and kbct) as I have better things to do with my time but I fully expect you to rant on and bicker with anyone who says anything positive as always after I am gone doing other things.

How many copies do you think ME2 sold in it's first month ?

VGC estimates 2.14 million sold in North America in March. Why is VGC 65% higher? Digital sales for PC and PS3? Hmm...

Ac tually you're wrong, 2.14 is 360 sales only. Are you being a PI now for game sales just to try and knock a video game? dude, seriously, re-evaluate your life for your sake. Life goes on, companies will continue making money, you will still be dwelling on ME3. it's over.

We get it, your dreams, wishes, and promises were shattered. you didn't get an ending you wanted to a video game.. life is more than a video game.. I hope to you. its been 6 weeks... does a video game ending mean this much to you? I feel sad on the inside people like this exist

Aaron Greenburg said it sold less than one million in it's first month.
