I'm making a spirit mage and I want to know: if the "spell shield" ability absorbs the damage and I have the "arcane shield" activated, the amount of mana that I lost is less than if I don't have the arcane shield activated?or the mana I lost is the same with and without the arcana shield?I am Brazilian, sory if my English isn't clear enough.
does the arcane shield and spell shield work together?

I believe Spell Shield absorbs spell damage only. Spell Shield is good when there are enemy mages attacking, but against physical attacks it does nothing.
Arcane Shield diverts physical attacks coming from weapons such as swords and bows. Arcane Shield can be useful if the mage is being stunned by enemy archers.

Glyph of Warding or even Paralysis can help with Archers.
