Also, this thread of logic fails as she would rather kill herself than kill Felere. Wouldn't she kill her without hesitation if she were Lawful Neutral?

I said that earlier, but okay. Of course she's going to want to save her daughter. It's her daughter, whom she loves. But she was going to kill herself to save her because it was the only way the code would allow her to do so. If she had no other way to deal with Falere other than killing her, she would have killed her.

I think we all have our own take on the characters, and it probably depends on how many playthroughs you do as well (and paragon/renegade choices).

That being said, you come off as a little biased against Jack. 

I strongly believe she was CN in ME2 and CG in ME3, and it seemed like a natural evolution to me.  IMO, A lot of Jack's talk was nothing but attitude, though with real bad-assery behind it.  Also, I always interpreted the prison response to Jack more as fear (almost awe) rather than disgust.  But once again, that was my interpretation.  The whole point of the Jack intro was to show that she's a biotic badass, though, so I feel like that's a reasonable read of the writer's intentions.

The prisoner's reaction maybe. The warden? No reason to lie to you, has Jack frozen solid, and a private army around him, if anything, he had a reason to paint it pretty. 

And I don't see her as badass. She's a wannabe badass. She is literally everything I have despised in people I've met: insecure, inconsistant, not very bright, hotheaded, pretentious, blaming her failings on her past etc. etc. etc. Then add in extremely violent and a serial killer. She's a despicable person in every way. It also makes her about as untrustworthy as you can get.
